With plenty of opportunities for memorable moments to happen at WWE WrestleMania 42, there could be several first time champions that leave the event.
Whether it be veteran stars capturing titles that have long been elusive to them, or rising talent marking the beginning of their ascent up the card – there are many options on the table in Las Vegas.
Here are six WWE stars and the titles they might win for the first time in their careers at WrestleMania 42.
6. Bayley Wins Women’s Intercontinental Championship
AJ Lee is set to take on Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at the Elimination Chamber on February 28.
Wit it being reported that AJ and Lynch are still set to clash at WrestleMania 42, perhaps a multi-woman match could be on the cards in Las Vegas?
With the Lowkey Legend iteration of the longstanding veteran Natalya recently taking hold on WWE Raw, it would make complete sense to see her enter the mix. While this may suggest that former IC Champ Maxxine Dupri could also join in, Bayley is another great option.
Shining examples of excellence across generations, it could be that the group steals the show at WrestleMania 42 ahead of Bayley picking up her first IC title win.

5. Roman Reigns Wins World Heavyweight Championship
While Roman Reigns has certainly captured top titles throughout WWE, one that has evaded him since its introduction is the World Heavyweight Championship.
With the title introduced in April 2023, Roman has remained out of the hunt for WWE Raw’s top prize, and even disregarded it in the past during his 1316 day Undisputed WWE Title run.
Set to face off against CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, his win could bring home yet another title to his already impressive resumé of title wins.
Reigns’ win could then set the stage for a fierce rivalry with Seth Rollins who was forced to vacate the title back in October due to injury.

4. The Lucha Brothers (PENTA & Rey Fenix) Win WWE Tag Team Championship
One tag team that hasn’t even united in WWE yet could end up winning tag team gold at WrestleMania 42 could be PENTA & Rey Fenix, The Lucha Brothers.
While the duo have performed together in promotions across the world, their time in WWE has seen them remain separate with PENTA on WWE and Rey Fenix on SmackDown.
Becoming the perfect foils for the current tag team title holders The MFTs, it could be the perfect time to see the brothers in action in WWE after recently appearing together in AAA.
With The Lucha Brothers able to finally unite in WWE to make some in-ring magic as a duo, it could be the perfect time to see them take home gold.

3. Jacob Fatu Wins Undisputed WWE Championship
One WWE fan favorite that could find himself capturing his first Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42 is Jacob Fatu.
While it certainly seems as though fans could be heading towards a major showdown between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42, Fatu’s involvement in their feud suggests that the match could morph into a three-way.
With a major match feel every time the trio interact, McIntyre’s reign will be under serious threat.
While most would assume that either Cody will win back the title or McIntyre will retain, “The Samoan Werewolf” instead capturing his first Undisputed WWE Championship on the “Grandest Stage of Them All” would make for a true WrestleMania-worthy moment.

2. The Bella Twins Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
While the duo of Brie and Nikki Bella were certainly a force to be reckoned with during their time in the WWE Women’s Division during the 2010s, there is one major acclaim they did not achieve.
With the introduction of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship coming after The Bella Twins were competing full-time together, they never got to win the gold that would have been tailor made for them.
With Brie Bella now finally back in the fold alongside her sister Nikki, they have made it clear that those elusive titles are their number one aim in this latest WWE run.
Since there remains a variety of creative decisions yet to be made in order to firm up the card for the big event, it remains unknown who the champs might be going into WrestleMania 42. Despite many great options in the division at present, the Bella Army will be hoping that Nikki and Brie leave Las Vegas with the titles.

1. Oba Femi Wins Intercontinental Championship
With both Raw’s Adam Pearce and SmackDown’s Nick Aldis presenting contracts to Oba Femi over the past week, WWE main roster fans continue to await Oba Femi’s big decision regarding where his future will lie.
If “The Ruler” picks WWE Raw, there is one avenue for him to win gold at WrestleMania: dethroning “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
On WWE Raw Femi had a stare down backstage with Rusev, while elsewhere in the show Penta earned an IC Title shot by beating El Grande Americano.
Leaving the potential for a multi-man match for the IC Title at WrestleMania 42, Femi could capture his first main roster title at the biggest stage imaginable.
