While 2026 has just gotten underway, there are already eyes on the next AEW pay-per-view, AEW Revolution 2026.
With AEW bringing a big event back to Los Angeles for Revolution, there would seem to be some prospective title changes that could go down at the event.
Here are six title changes that could happen at AEW Revolution 2026.
6. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage win AEW Tag Team Championship from FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood)

One potential title change that could be highly satisfying on March 15 in Los Angeles may be FTR finally getting some comeuppance for their recent dastardly actions.
After last tangling at AEW All Out in Toronto, quite a bit has changed in the AEW Tag Team division which could make the re-match between Adam Copeland “& Christian Cage and FTR even more electric.
Now that FTR have captured the AEW Tag Team Championship, the battle has even higher stakes.
After a post-match attack on Beth Copeland seemingly sent Adam Copeland into a period of doubt by which he hasn’t returned to in-ring action in AEW, that could certainly change soon.

5. Andrade wins TNT Championship from Mark Briscoe

After departing from WWE in September 2025, he surprised fans when he popped back up straight away in AEW, appearing on Dynamite and attacking Kenny Omega.
However, in the ensuing weeks it became clear that perhaps there were still some details about his departure and potential non-compete clauses and Andrade did not return to AEW TV. With Andrade’s non-compete dispute with WWE seemingly resolved, he has already returned to action in NJPW.
Winning his return bout at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 on January 4 when he joined up with Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan, Jake Lee and Henare, the group bested David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, Drilla Moloneyn Hirooki Goto and Hiromu Takahashi — it could be that a return to AEW is around the corner.
Possibly looking to re-establish himself in AEW after joining the Don Callis Family in his previous appearance, he could target Mark Briscoe and the TNT Championship.

4. The Elite win AEW Trios Championship from The Opps

After finding seemingly finding their hearts again in AEW, it may be time for the Young Bucks to chase AEW trios gold again.
A potential reunion at AEW Revolution could be The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) reuniting with Kenny Omega in their Elite trio in order capture the AEW Trios Championship from The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata).
In the event that Omega isn’t available, there could be a new formation for the trios titles — bringing together Jack Perry and the Young Bucks to capture the titles instead.
With Luchasaurus being written off of TV through an attack by The Demand, The Young Bucks & Jungle Boy could have an immediate trios feud awaiting them.

3. Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue & Julia Hart) win AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship from Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale)

After being the first team to capture the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship, it could be that the inaugural reign ends abruptly in chaos.
After holding off a number of big challengers including Mercedes Mone and Athena, it could be that the Babes of Wrath end up engaged in a longer back and forth feud with a familiar duo.
With the Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue & Julia Hart) seemingly making their intentions clear to still target the titles in the future, their frightening intensity could prove too much to handle in the end.
Potentially looking to make the AEW women’s tag team division feel more exciting by featuring a number of teams through short reigns with the titles, it could be an intriguing year in the division.

2. Swerve Strickland wins AEW World Championship from MJF

After MJF managed to capture the AEW World Championship during a four-way fight between Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page, fans are prepared for a long reign.
With MJF’s previous title reign lasting 406 days, perhaps this time around the run will be much shorter.
Likely to face off against any number of formidable foes at AEW Revolution, it could be the perfect place for another title change to shake-up the main event scene again.
With Swerve taking back the AEW World Championship at Revolution, there could be a fascinating Triple-Threat match being laid out for AEW Dynasty in Vancouver in mid-April.

1. Speedball Mike Bailey wins AEW National Championship from Ricochet

After Ricochet was able to capture the AEW National Championship at AEW Full Gear, he has continued to hold it.
Most recently defeating Jack Perry to retain the title at AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash 2025, Ricochet has also had successful defenses against Dalton Castle, Ace Austin and even Nino Bryant in RevPro.
However, it could be Speedball Mike Bailey that comes back to haunt Ricochet, ultimately taking the AEW National Championship at Revolution in Los Angeles.
Perhaps leading to an interesting future set of bouts between Bailey and his own tag team partner Kevin Knight, there could be an exciting rivalry rooted in respect as a break from the usual vitriol and violence.
