WWE is just mere weeks away from WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The company has already announced some of the main title matches for the card, but there could be some tag team bouts added over the next few weeks.
From tag team titles up for grabs to rivalries being settled, these tag team contests could hold some major ramifications on the company moving forward.
Here are six potential tag team matches at WWE WrestleMania 42.
6. The MFTs vs. The Wyatt Sicks – WWE Tag Team Championship
Since October 2025, The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks have been engaged in a feud with one another.
During this months-long war, the two warring factions have seen titles changing hands and a stolen lantern formerly belonging to Bray Wyatt.
On the January 23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga of The MFTs defeated The Wyatt Sicks’ Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
This could lead to WrestleMania 42 where the tag titles could be on the line between The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks to settle this rivalry once and for all.

5. The Original El Grande Americano & The Creed Brothers vs. Los Americanos (El Grande, Rayo & Bravo Americano)
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, The Original El Grande Americano made his return from injury in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Ever since this return, The Original El Grande has been embroiled in a rivalry with the current El Grande Americano and Los Americanos.
With The Original El Grande facing off with El Grande, Rayo and Bravo over the past few weeks, he may need some backup to battle with Los Americanos.
At WrestleMania 42, The Original El Grande could recruit The Creed Brothers to finally take down Los Americanos and unmask the current El Grande.

4. The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella) – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
On the February 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Irresistible Forces defeated RHIYO to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Nia Jax and Lash Legend came together as a unit in November 2025 to start a rivalry with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, which led to the duo costing them the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Meanwhile, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have been in search of their opportunity at the gold and The Bella Twins came back to WWE with the expressed purpose of challenging for the titles.
This could set the stage for The Irresistible Forces to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria and The Bella Twins at WrestleMania 42.

3. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) vs. The Vision (Logan Paul & Austin Theory) – World Tag Team Championship
The February 27 Friday Night SmackDown started with Jey Uso being seen laid out backstage after a mystery attack. This led to The Vision showing up to suggest Logan Paul take Uso’s spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber.
After a win over Jacob Fatu on that episode, Paul went on to compete in the Chamber in Jey’s place.
Then on the March 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, Jimmy Uso went after Austin Theory and had a match with him later in the show that saw Logan Paul and Jey Uso get involved after the bout.
After everything that has happened in recent weeks and the rivalry that has developed over the past year, The Usos defending the World Tag Team Championship against The Vision feels like a no brainer for WrestleMania 42.

2. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio) vs. Lucha Bros (Penta & Rey Fenix)
On the March 2 edition of WWE Raw, Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship.
This win came after Finn Balor stopped JD McDonagh from helping Mysterio cheat to get the victory in this bout.
This title change could result in a change to the WrestleMania 42 card that might see a highly anticipated reunion happening for ‘The Show of Shows.’
The Judgment Day’s ‘Dirty Dom’ and Balor could team against Penta and his brother Rey Fenix at Mania to bring the Lucha Bros back together and give fans this reunion that has been long rumored for a year now.

1. The Vision (Logan Paul & Bron Breakker) vs. Seth Rollins & Bad Bunny
While The Vision could challenge The Usos for the World Tag Team Championship, WWE could also use the group in other ways at WrestleMania 42.
There have been various reports and rumors in regards to Seth Rollins facing Bron Breakker to pay off the betrayal that happened within The Vision back in October 2025.
Meanwhile, there has been plenty of talk in regards to Bad Bunny making a return to WWE and potentially facing Logan Paul in a battle of two of the most known celebrities in the world today.
WWE could combine both of these matches to protect the two returning stars and two less experienced performers by having The Vision’s Paul and Breakker team to face Rollins and Bunny in a huge dream tag team match at WrestleMania 42.
