With the upcoming all-female WWE Evolution 2025 PLE fast approaching, there are sure to be some surprises in store for the big event.
From returning stars to major storyline developments, there are a lot of ways that things could be shaken up on July 13 in Atlanta.
Here are six possible surprises for WWE Evolution 2025.
6. Ronda Rousey Appears
After headlining the first edition of Evolution in 2018 in a match against Nikki Bella, it might make sense to see Ronda Rousey make an appearance.
Potentially able to be convinced into attending the event, Rousey remains a prominent name in women’s sports despite her current hiatus from regular competition.
Previously vocal about some disappointments with her time in the company, it could be a good experience for Rousey who sometimes got mixed reactions from fans.
Undeniably one reason WWE women’s matches captured mainstream attention for a time, Ronda Rousey could a fun surprise appearance at Evolution.

5. Blake Monroe Turns Heel
WWE Evolution 2025 is set to host matches that feature main roster talent as well as NXT, and accordingly, there will be an NXT Women’s Championship bout on the card.
Current champ Jacy Jayne will put the title on the line against Jordynne Grace – who may have an NXT newcomer accompanying her in Blake Monroe (Mariah May).
Since the duo is set to team up at Great American Bash the day before Evolution and Jayne has her Fatal Influence faction Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx in her corner – it may make sense to see Grace bring some backup too.
However, in the end, the moment could also mark the perfect opportunity for Blake Monroe to reveal her true dastardly intentions by turning heel on Grace – whether or not she picked up the victory in the match.

4. Brie Bella Returns
With the recent return of twin sister Nikki Bella, WWE fans are still wondering if Brie Bella will make an appearance.
While Nikki is featured on the poster for the event, it could be that Brie is being reserved as a suprise.
It has been confirmed that there will be a women’s battle royal and the winner will earn a championship match at Clash In Paris on August 31.
A good opportunity to incorporate multiple nostalgic returns, there could be another Total Divas alum making a return at the event as well.

3. Paige Returns
With the battle royal comes the perfect opportunity for new stars to face off against some of the biggest names from the history of the WWE women’s division.
One such name that would be iconic to see return is Paige, also known by her real first name Saraya during her time in AEW.
Since Saraya’s departure from AEW, she has never closed the door on a potential WWE return.
Whether she was to make an official in-ring return or just a one-off appearance, it would be great to see Paige back on WWE TV.

2. Naomi Cashes In On Trish Stratus vs. Tiffany Stratton
On the July 4 WWE SmackDown episode, there was a big return when Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made an appearance.
Arriving to the ring during a segment between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill, Trish Stratus was confirmed for a WWE Women’s Championship match at Evolution 2025.
The match seems like the perfect time for the current Money in the Bank briefcase holder Naomi to cash-in and secure her shot at the title.
Possibly pinning Stratus and therefore protecting Stratton in defeat – it would also set the stage for Naomi vs. Jade Cargill at SummerSlam.

1. TNA Team Joins Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
While WWE General Managers had a difficult problem to solve when one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan picked up an injury, the company came up with a compromise.
On Raw, General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis accepted Judgment Day’s suggestion of Raquel Rodriguez keeping the titles but with new tag team partner Roxanne Perez- although it was also announced they’ll defend the titles at Evolution in a four-way against a team from Raw, a team from SmackDown and a team from NXT.
However, it has been rumored that The IInspiration – Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee – have had their names mentioned regarding the upcoming event.
Formerly known as the IIconics during their time in WWE, the duo are previous holders of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and could be a fun surprise to add another team to the match, perhaps by way of a win on NXT.
