From returning and debuting stars to compelling twists in this story, the surprise could be aplenty come the latest premium live event on May 31.

Here are six potential surprises for Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu Tribal Combat Match at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

6. The Usos Don’t Get Involved In Tribal Combat

There have only been two Tribal Combat matches over the past three years involving members of The Bloodline and Samoan family dynasty.

These bouts have featured other Bloodline stablemates getting involved in the match very heavily.

Over the past few weeks, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu have been going at it with a ton of intensity. This has also led to The Usos getting involved to play peacemaker and then attack “The Samoan Werewolf.”

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see The Usos interfere during this Tribal Combat, but it would be a significant shock to see Jimmy and Jey not get involved in the main event at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

5. Zilla Fatu Makes His Debut To Help Jacob Fatu Win Tribal Combat

Jacob Fatu is looking to change his entire life by winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns.

While Reigns has led their family to new heights, he has done so with The Usos close by his side.

If “The Samoan Werewolf” wants to take the reins of The Bloodline moving forward, he could bring in a new member from the Samoan family dynasty.

Fatu opening the door for Zilla Fatu to make his WWE debut at Clash In Italy 2026 would be an excellent way to start a new era in The Bloodline coming out of this historic event.

4. Rikishi Shows Up To Give The Ula Fala To Winner Of Tribal Combat

There are some legendary stars in The Bloodline that have not gotten involved in storylines over the duration of the stable.

The winner of Tribal Combat at WWE Clash In Italy 2026 will not only walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship, but they will also become “The Tribal Chief.”

In the past, The Wild Samoans appeared to adorn Roman Reigns with the ula fala to anoint him as “The OTC.”

Now that Afa and Sika Anoa’i have passed away, WWE could bring in Rikishi to give the winner of Tribal Combat between Reigns and Jacob Fatu the ula fala at Clash In Italy.

3. Drew McIntyre Returns To Cost Jacob Fatu Tribal Combat

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, Jacob Fatu defeated Drew McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match.

Since this loss, “The Scottish Warrior” has not been seen on WWE television with no signs of his return.

After the victory, Fatu has been pursuing the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating his cousin, Roman Reigns.

With Tribal Combat between Reigns and Fatu set for WWE Clash In Italy 2026, McIntyre could return at the event to cost “The Samoan Werewolf” the title and the status as “Tribal Chief.”

2. The Usos Turn On Roman Reigns & Align With Jacob Fatu

While Jimmy has done so in the past, The Usos collectively have yet to team up with Jacob Fatu for a match on WWE TV.

During his rivalry with CM Punk, Roman Reigns’ past as “Tribal Chief” was called into question.

Reigns was known for manipulating and gaslighting his family to get his way, making sure that he kept the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

After it was revealed that “The OTC” never apologizes to his cousins, Jimmy and Jey Uso could make a decision to side with Jacob Fatu over Reigns.

The Usos betraying Reigns would be quite the interesting twist in this story and lead to them choosing Fatu as the new “Tribal Chief” coming out of WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

1. The Rock Makes His Return

There is one more member of The Bloodline that has been heavily involved in their story and that is The Rock.

“The Final Boss” was brought into The Bloodline by Roman Reigns back in 2024 and may play a pivotal role moving forward.

The Rock returning to WWE could see him heavily involved in the Tribal Combat at the Clash In Italy 2026 premium live event.

With Reigns set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship and his status as “Tribal Chief” at Clash In Italy, this event could see The Rock coming back to help Fatu dethrone “The Head of the Table” in Turin, Italy on May 31.
