With the all-female WWE Evolution premium live event set to host a battle royal, there is almost certainly going to be some memorable surprises.
From former WWE stars, to others who are currently signed to partner promotions – there are some legendary female stars that could find a spot in the match and potentially even find themselves earning a world title shot at August’s WWE Clash in Paris PLE.
Here are six potential surprise entrants in the WWE Evolution 2025 battle royal.
6. The IInspiration
Ahead of WWE Evolution it has been reported that TNA Wrestling tag team The IInspiration – Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee – are under consideration for appearances at next Sunday’s PLE.
Since there is already a crowded field for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match – featuring Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defending against Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair plus as yet to be determined teams from WWE Raw and NXT – it seems unlikely the duo will be in that match.
The far likelier scenario would be both McKay and Lee showing up as entrants in the Evolution battle royal.
The former IIconics contributed a lot of entertainment during their time in WWE and seeing both women enter the battle royal would be an amazing throwback to the Peyton Royce and Billie Kay characters.

5. Tamina
Despite not competing in the company since February 2023, Tamina is still reportedly under contract with WWE.
If she is able to compete, it would be great to see Tamina join the field of the battle royal after having been a definite contributor to the women’s evolution in WWE.
Since her debut in 2010, Tamina redefined a powerhouse role for women in the company and would go on to team with a predecessor in Nia Jax in 2018.
Tamina making an appearance at Evolution 2025 would give her some closure on her WWE career, or potentially kick start one final run.

4. Brie Bella
Last making an appearance in WWE back at the 2022 Royal Rumble, Brie Bella could make a big comeback at Evolution.
While it seems that Nikki Bella is most definitely going to show up as an entrant – since she doesn’t have any other match announced but is featured front and center on the promotional poster – it would be a fun surprise to see Brie Bella also make a return to action at Evolution 2025.
Ahead of Liv Morgan’s unfortunate shoulder injury, reports had stated that Brie was in talks for a WWE return, with the duo potentially chasing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Evolution is also set to host a WWE Women’s Tag Team title match, and at present it doesn’t seem like Nikki & Brie will be making it in to that bout. So pairing The Bella Twins together again inside the battle royal seems like the next best option.

3. Michelle McCool
As an important contributor to the history of the WWE women’s division, it would be fitting to see Michelle McCool make a surprise entry at Evolution 2025.
Having recently been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025, McCool is set for more appearances in WWE soon.
Serving as a mentor on the second season of the A&E competition series WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), McCool is already back in fans’ minds.
With experience in several Royal Rumble matches – with an impressive elimination record to boot – McCool showing up in the Evolution battle royal seems like a no brainer.

2. Paige
Being forced into an early retirement due to a neck injury sustained in late 2017, seeing Paige (fka Saraya in AEW) return to the company at Evolution would be a true surprise, but a very welcome one.
While she wasn’t medically cleared to compete by WWE officials prior to her departure in 2022, she found her way back into a wrestling ring later that year when she signed to AEW.
In what was a total career rejuvenation, Saraya captured the AEW Women’s World Championship in front of her home crowd and family at AEW All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium.
With a title shot at Clash at the Castle Paris on the line for the winner of the battle royal – Paige returning and immediately being launched back in the main event picture would make for some true excitement heading into the end of the Summer.

1. Stephanie McMahon
Not to be forgotten in the history of the women’s evolution in WWE – it would be really fun to see Stephanie McMahon get back into the ring at Evolution.
Entirely unlikely that she would win admittedly it would make for a true surprise and would be about as fun a cameo that anyone could make in the match.
McMahon has received positive fan reactions when she’s returned sporadically to WWE TV, something that would surely be the same for the battle royal.
Also potentially documenting her appearance for a special edition of her podcast – McMahon would be a fun throwback to see lock up with the likes of former rival Brie Bella, as well as legends from the Attitude Era and early 2000s.
