With both WWE and AEW seeing some notable departures in 2025, it seems likely we could see some familiar faces pop up in TNA Wrestling.
Despite being tied to a partnership with WWE, TNA could use high profile free agents, as well as younger stars of the future to further increase the strength of their roster.
Here are six potential new TNA Wrestling signings.
6. R-Truth
With WWE fans reeling after the news that the company would not be renewing R-Truth’s contract, perhaps not all hope is lost of the beloved star playing a role in a notable company.
While speculation regarding a move to AEW has been abound, a more likely move would probably be TNA Wrestling.
Fans might remember that after his brief first run in WWE during the Attitude Era, R-Truth spent several years in TNA Wrestling before returning to WWE in 2008.
With WWE still in an on-going crossover partnership with TNA Wrestling, perhaps we haven’t seen the last of R-Truth.

5. Elayna Black (Cora Jade)
Former NXT star Elayna Black (Cora Jade) has recently opened up about her time in the company and her future plans.
While she has booked numerous independent dates for the coming months, perhaps signing to TNA Wrestling would make sense.
With the Knockouts division continuing to thrive, the addition of Black would be a good signing, especially given that she already has experience tying up with the likes of Masha Slamovich already.
After having also previously appeared in AEW before signing with WWE, she recently shared that she would be open to returning so perhaps we’ll see Black signed to a top promotion sooner rather than later.

4. Braun Strowman
Of the recently released WWE stars, one that could continue his gimmick largely unchanged would be Braun Strowman.
After years of portraying a rampaging monster, the former WWE star could definitely pick up right where he left off.
Or – should he want to try out something entirely different, TNA Wrestling could be the place to debut a brand new gimmick.
With TNA Wrestling already hosting a variety of enjoyable, albeit at times overlooked former WWE stars (including the likes of Elijah, Nic Nemeth and AJ Francis), Strowman would be in good company.

3. Abadon
While there were a recent crop of WWE departures, there were some notable names that left AEW as well.
In addition to Saraya and Mariah May, Abadon was also confirmed to not be re-signing with the company.
With a unique look and character, Abadon could definitely be a great fit for TNA Wrestling.
Hopefully given a bigger opportunity to shine in the future, Abadon still has a lot of upside in terms of fan support, in-ring abilities and personality.

2. Shayna Baszler
After sliding herself as a dominant force in NXT, Shayna Baszler’s main roster run was sadly without any singles championships.
With a legitimate MMA background, Shayna Baszler could better her WWE run in the TNA Knockouts division – returning to the force she once was as the “Queen of Spades”.
A viable threat to Tessa Blanchard or Masha Slamovich, Baszler could have the chance to shine as a badass babyface in TNA Wrestling – or a frightening heel.
Whatever the case, Baszler deserves another chance to reach the top of a notable promotion such as TNA.

1. Mara Sadè (Jakara Jackson)
Despite being a fan favorite faction, Meta-Four officially broke up when Jakara Jackson and Oro Mensah were released from the company.
However the former “Miss Jackson” has pledged to continue wrestling, even outlining her hopes to compete in Japan.
Debuting her new ring name Mara Sadè, she also debuted a new look in a vignette on social media, where she also confirmed that she is accepting independent wrestling bookings.
With many young stars in the Knockout’s Division, TNA woudl be a perfect place for Sadè to both continue her development as well as remain in the limelight.
