AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view takes place on November 22 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Traditionally one of the company’s biggest annual PPVs, the announced top of the card promises several standout bouts — with a rematch for the AEW Men’s World Championship between Hangman Adam Page and Samoa Joe, Kris Statlander defending the Women’s World Title against Mercedes Moné and Bandido and Brody King putting the AEW Tag Team Titles on the line against FTR.
However, with AEW’s reputation for stacked cards, more compelling matchups will be added in the coming weeks.
Here are six more matches to potentially be added to the AEW Full Gear 2025 card.
6. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada

The simmering feud within the Don Callis Family finally looks ready to boil over.
Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada have been locked in an intra-faction rivalry of one-upmanship for months — most recently at WrestleDream, where Okada levelled Takeshita with his patented Rainmaker during their losing effort for the tag titles.
On the October 29 edition of Dynamite, tensions exploded when Takeshita refused to shake Okada’s hand, leading to a heated shoving match.
In what promises to be a potential Match of the Year contender, the two uber-talented Japanese stars look set to clash at Full Gear.

5. Ricochet vs. Bobby Lashley

The Hurt Syndicate and Ricochet’s group, The Demand, have been feuding since early September — clashing in tag and trios matches.
Their rivalry continued on the 22 October edition of Dynamite when Ricochet cost The Hurt Syndicate the Trios Titles, interfering in their match with The Opps.
One week later, on Dynamite, during a four-way bout to determine the number one contender for the AEW World Title, Ricochet prevented Bobby Lashley from picking up the win.
It appears we are headed to a high-profile singles clash between Lashley and Ricochet at Full Gear — with the key question being whether Ricochet can hand Lashley his first pinfall loss since joining AEW last year.

4. Young Bucks vs. JetSpeed

AEW’s last PPV, WrestleDream, spoiled fans of tag team wrestling, delivering three standout bouts — from the tag title clash between Brody King & Bandido vs. Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita, to Jurassic Express vs. The Young Bucks, and FTR vs. Jetspeed.
Full Gear already boasts one marquee tag match, with FTR challenging Brody King and Bandido for the AEW Tag Team Titles — but, given the depth of the division, it seems likely another men’s tag bout will also be added to the card.
Recent multi-team matches on both Dynamite and Collision have highlighted the clear chemistry and athletic rivalry between The Young Bucks and Jetspeed.
The two teams have only met once before in a straight tag match — a Dynamite encounter in April that saw The Bucks score the win — but could we see Jetspeed even the score at Full Gear?

3. Eddie Kingston vs. Rush

Eddie Kingston made his long-awaited return to AEW in September after over a year out with a serious leg injury, immediately forming an alliance with Hook.
Since then, the duo have been embroiled in a running feud with Rush’s La Facción Ingobernable.
In recent weeks on Collision, Kingston has scored victories over both Beast Mortos and Dralistico, seemingly building toward a bout with Rush himself.
At Full Gear, we could see this match made official — a showdown between two of AEW’s most intense, hard-striking brawlers that could very well steal the show at the PPV.

2. AEW TNT Championship – Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe

At WrestleDream, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe clashed in the fifth instalment of their standout rivalry — a series widely regarded as one of the best in AEW history.
Fletcher retained his TNT Championship, going 3–2 up overall and seemingly ending their feud as the overall victor.
However, on the 22 October edition of Dynamite, Briscoe issued a challenge for one more match against the young champion.
It now looks likely that the pair will meet again at Full Gear — and this could be the first bout in their series to feature a stipulation.

1. AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships – Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa vs. Mercedes Mone & Athena

The tournament to crown AEW’s long-awaited Women’s Tag Team Champions began on the 29 October edition of Dynamite.
While the date for the finals has yet to be confirmed, it appears highly likely they’ll take place at Full Gear.
It appears the finals will see the team of Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa meet the dream pairing of Mercedes Moné and Athena.
That would mean Moné pulling double duty on the PPV — but she certainly wouldn’t be the first to do so, and given her clear drive to set records, it’s easy to imagine her wanting to be the first woman in AEW history to do it.
