On Saturday, December 27, All Elite Wrestling will present their latest pay-per-view event with AEW Worlds End 2025.

Outside of the stacked card already announced, there could be some interesting storyline elements, such as heel turns that could shake up the landscape of the company.

From longtime babyfaces embracing the dark side or popular stars taking different tactics to become champion again, these character changes could cause ripple effects throughout the entire promotion.

Here are six potential heel turns at AEW Worlds End 2025.

6. Brody King

2025 has been one of the most successful years of Brody King’s entire career.

Forming Brodido with Bandido, King was able to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship and really leave his mark on the company.

However, Brodido lost the titles to FTR in an instant classic at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event.

After losing the gold, fans could see Brody King snap and betray Bandido, turning heel for the first time in a few years at AEW Worlds End.

5. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

Back in January, Hurt Syndicate defeated Private Party to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Ever since this loss, fans have not seen Private Party back on AEW television with no signs of a return.

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been building their bodies up amidst rumors of WWE having interest in the former AEW World Tag Team Champions.

While they could leave the promotion and sign with WWE, Private Party could make their return and turn heel to make their mark back in the AEW tag team scene at Worlds End.

4. Thunder Rosa

Following AEW All In: Texas, it was revealed that Thunder Rosa was taking some time off to recover from lingering injuries.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has long been one of the most popular female stars in the company.

While she has mostly played a babyface throughout her time in the promotion, it does seem like Rosa might be due for a heel turn if she wants to make an impact in the AEW women’s scene.

Rosa turning heel by attacking AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander could be a great way to bring her back into the fold in an important spot.

3. Keith Lee

Signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2022, Keith Lee immediately became someone that fans viewed as a top star for the promotion.

While he found early success alongside Swerve Strickland as AEW World Tag Team Champions, “The Limitless One” has been away from All Elite Wrestling for the past two years since being pulled from the AEW Worlds End 2023 event.

The former WWE star has the size, look, charisma and in-ring ability to stand toe-to-toe with any name on the AEW roster.

Playing a babyface for the better part of the past decade of his career, Keith Lee could return to turn heel and potentially try to settle the score with his former Swerve In Our Glory tag team partner, Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End.

2. Jay White

AEW star Jay White

Ahead of AEW Dynasty 2025, it was revealed that Jay White had been pulled from the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament due to a broken hand injury.

With an extended time on the shelf, White also took the time to get surgery on some lingering shoulder injuries.

“Switchblade” was one of the top stars on the AEW roster prior to his injury, mixing it up with The Death Riders.

Potentially turning the entire Bang Bang Gang heel, Jay White could come back in the fold by turning heel and laying out one of the top babyfaces like Hangman Adam Page or Darby Allin to announce his comeback to AEW television at Worlds End.

1. Jamie Hayter

AEW star Jamie Hayter

Following their victory over Sisters of Sin at AEW Collision: Winter Is Coming, Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter agreed to a title clash at the AEW Worlds End 2025 pay-per-view.

Hayter has been looking for her singles opportunity to recapture the top prize in the AEW women’s division since returning at last year’s All In: London 2024 event.

With this chance to sit atop the company again, Hayter should pull out all the stops in her attempt to take down Statlander.

This should include a more aggressive side and even a heel turn for Hayter where she takes nefarious means to become a two-time AEW Women’s World Champion heading into 2026.
