Earlier this week, it was reported that Bruce Prichard was set to retire from his role in WWE following WrestleMania 43, with him set to work remotely as a correspondent following the show.
With Prichard retiring, it is being reported that Shawn Michaels is the one set to replace him on the main roster.
With the Heartbreak Kid set to have more influence on the main roster following WrestleMania, here are some current main roster stars we could see be pushed.
Fraxiom
During their time on the NXT brand, Fraxiom were considered by many, including Shawn Michaels himself, as one of, if not the, best tag teams in the world.
Since their legendary NXT Tag Team Championship run ended at Stand & Deliver in 2025, they have been part of the SmackDown brand, though they have been spending most of their time on Main Event and NXT recently.
With Shawn set to have more influence following WrestleMania, we could finally see Fraxiom thrive on the main roster.
Carmelo Hayes
During the days of NXT 2.0, Carmelo Hayes was positioned as one of the brightest stars of the brand, with he and Bron Breakker being almost positioned as 1A and 1B ahead of their clash at Stand & Deliver in 2023.
On the main roster, Hayes has seen some success as the United States Champion, and finally seems to be getting more spotlight as part of the 946 after a very quiet 2026.
With the Heartbreak Kid on his way to the main roster soon, one of Hayes’ biggest supporters will be in a position of power on the main roster.
Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez is another name who achieved great success under Shawn Michaels in NXT, with her reigning twice as NXT Women’s Champion, with her run in 2024 being among the best in the title’s lineage.
On the main roster, Roxanne is being used as a pin eater in a stale faction, and with her not winning Money In The Bank, there is seemingly no end in sight for that role for her on the roster.
With Shawn Michaels set to take over from Bruce Prichard, Roxanne could finally break away as a future star on the main roster.
Giulia
When Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer both signed with NXT in 2024, both women were positioned as equals upon arrival, which made their title vs. title showdown at Roadblock 2025 a major encounter.
While Stephanie has thrived on the main roster, Giulia has not seen the same amount of success despite two runs as Women’s United States Champion.
Shawn made sure to spotlight Giulia in a major way during her time in NXT, and hopefully we could see him do the same on the main roster.
