6. Austin Theory Invades SmackDown

Austin Theory on WWE Raw

While there was a reveal at the end of this week’s WWE Raw that unveiled Austin Theory as the mysterious masked man that has been striking in WWE.

While he seems squarely affiliated with The Vision, it could be that the dastardly group still has some business outstanding on SmackDown.

Potentially arriving with or without the other members of The Vision, there could be some intriguing action for Austin Theory on the blue brand.

Keeping in step with his chaotic presentation, perhaps Theory will begin targeting a brand new target this Friday.

5. Oba Femi Confronts Drew McIntyre

After Drew McIntyre interrupted a massive career moment for Oba Femi — having a bout against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at John Cena’s last WWE show — Femi may be none too pleased.

Potentially popping back up at SmackDown to confront McIntyre, there could be a big showdown coming soon.

While Oba Femi continues to hold the NXT Championship, he could certainly be on the verge of being called up to the main roster in the near future.

After receiving a warm reception after recently returning to NXT for NXT Homecoming and his recent Last Time Is Now tournament showing, Carmelo Hayes could be on the verge of a new era.

Set to team with United States Champion Ilja Dragunov on Friday’s episode of SmackDown to face off against #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) Hayes could be on the verge of a bit of a babyface presentation.

Potentially joining forces with another fan favorite in Trick Williams, the duo could definitely become top contenders together both for singles titles and the WWE Tag Team Championship.

With a lot of upside left with Carmelo Hayes, perhaps shaking up his character could create even more momentum in the future.

With Asuka and Kairi Sane certainly with no shortage of enemies in WWE — including Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY — they are also fending off the new team of Nia Jax and Lash Legend.

While still being targeted by former tag champs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, there could be a massive four-way tag team bout set for all the women involved.

Potentially going to war over the titles, there could be even more interesting competition coming to the WWE SmackDown women’s division.

Another possible addition to SmackDown might be bringing together an intriguing concept that hasn’t been totally explored on the main roster yet.

With an on-going feud between Aleister Black and Damian Priest seemingly now including their female counterparts, Zelina Vega and Rhea Ripley respectively — there could be a new division of competition.

Since Ethan Page and Chelsea Green are already current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions, there could certainly be an emerging division of mixed tag teams.

With teams from NXT like Ariana Grace and Stacks Lorenzo and Thea Hail and Joe Hendry potentially able to team back up, there could be a very exciting tournament brewing on SmackDown featuring mixed tag teams.

1. Brock Lesnar Returns

One big name in WWE who has yet to make a return appearances after the men’s WarGames match is Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar could very well be making a massive return to SmackDown in the future and headed straight for Cody Rhodes.

Since it seems that perhaps the WWE Undisputed Champion will be set to face off against Brock Lesnar at some point in the future, it could be that The Beast comes looking for Rhodes sooner rather than later.

Potentially breaking down the doors of SmackDown, Lesnar could add himself as another layer to the intense feud still raging between Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.
