With the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble coming next month, there could be some major character shifts that go down at the event.
From stars finding their good side due to the actions of others, to those that are forced to turn babyface simply because the crowd adores them — there might be some big moves in Riyadh for the Royal Rumble.
Here are six potential babyface turns that could happen at WWE Royal Rumble 2026.
6. Roxanne Perez

Being presented as a heel so far on the main roster, “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez could definitely shake things up in 2026.
Still rolling with The Judgment Day, it may be that Roxanne Perez ends up departing the group sometime in the near future, especially with Liv Morgan now back in the fold.
Possibly able to align on-screen with AJ Lee in the event that she turns babyface, Perez could be pivotal in supporting Lee’s apparent WrestleMania 42 feud with Becky Lynch.
While it could lead to a shocking betrayal at some point in the future when Perez turns heel again on AJ Lee, at least for a while there could be a heartwarming story between the two generational talents.

5. Tama Tonga

While Solo Sikoa’s MFTs are still standing strong as a united front, it could be that their feud with another big faction could result in them losing a member.
Potentially being talked out of rolling with Solo Sikoa through interactions with the Wyatt Sicks’ leader Uncle Howdy, Tama Tonga could ultimately disappear.
Seemingly abducted by the Sicks, he could eventually return alongside Jacob Fatu upon the latter’s return from injury.
Able to receive a huge reception as a babyface star alongside Fatu, the duo could end up becoming the latest off-shoot from the Bloodline storyline to take WWE by storm.

4. Chad Gable & American Made

An entire trio that could turn babyface in the near future could be American Made, anchored by the returning Chad Gable.
While he may have been last seen in WWE as a heel before being injured in June 2025, it could be that the overwhelming excitement from fans to see the return of Master Gable could lead to a babyface turn.
When Chad Gable does make his return to action, it might be the perfect opportunity for him to pivot towards a babyface presentation in order to capitalize on the fan support.
Potentially bringing the entire group alongside him to gain popularity, in the likely event that Gable ends up turning on his stablemates (Julius & Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile), the trio can continue on as babyfaces.

3. Los Americanos

A trio that could potentially turn babyface could be that of El Grande Americano, Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano.
While El Grande Americano certainly receives a raucous crowd reaction in Mexico for AAA, his group has remained heels on WWE TV.
Since the men beneath the masks are Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande), Tyler Bate (Bravo) and Pete Dunne (Rayo) — all three could win fans over through both quality of their wrestling, as well as their fun characters.
With the trio able to bring a fun spin to the previous presentation of the character on-screen, perhaps instead of American Made becoming babyface — it will end up being Los Americanos.

2. Finn Balor

One of the most likely members of the Judgment Day to turn babyface in the near future is Finn Balor.
Received as a babyface during his recent appearance at NXT Homecoming, it would seem that there is plenty of magic left in a righteous iteration of Balor.
With a hanging question mark regarding whether or not JD McDonagh may become babyface as well in 2026, there could be an intriguing renaissance for the former WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Potentially seeking gold again in the future but this time as babyfaces, the duo could face off against an intriguing line up on the road to WrestleMania 42 including The New Day and even The Usos.

1. Austin Theory

Although Austin Theory just made his return to WWE screens, he remains a heel.
Albeit an entirely different version of a heel than the one he has been playing for the last several years on WWE TV.
Gone are the loud clothing and obnoxious attitude, instead replaced by a dark determination and all black attire.
While he remains affiliated with The Vision for now, it could be that as WWE grows nearer to WrestleMania 42 (and/or a potential return from Seth Rollins), it could be revealed later that Theory had been a babyface on behalf of The Visionary all along.
