After WWE WrestleMania 41, there are plenty of moves anticipated by the time the WWE Draft takes place, perhaps including some legendary returns.

From former WWE stars who have spent time in AEW to others who have just recently popped up again – there are many possibilities.

Here are five WWE Legends that could re-sign with the company.

5. Chris Jericho

Former WWE Champion, AEW star Chris Jericho

After declaring that he was leaving AEW for a while (in storyline at least), Jericho’s current absence is also explained in real life by his band Fozzy touring through mid-May.

While he is still signed to AEW, it has been reported that his current deal is set to end in October 2025.

It seems wild to think about but perhaps Jericho has had a change of heart, recently noting that he would never say never about returning to WWE.

While most fans would recognize he will likely be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame someday, if he were to re-sign with WWE it would seem much more likely to occur.

4. Paige

Former WWE star Saraya in AEW

While she was most recently known as her real name Saraya in AEW, fans continue to clamor for the WWE return of Paige.

Saraya herself has recently noted that she would be happy to return to the Paige character, still expressing fondness for her time in WWE.

The former Divas Champion was forced to cut her WWE in-ring career short due to injury but was medically cleared to compete in AEW.

It would be great to see Paige make a return, even if it was only for something like a special appearance during a major match or as a Royal Rumble participant.

3. Jim Ross

While he continues to be signed with AEW and calls some major matches, Jim Ross is another legend that it would be heartwarming to see return to WWE.

The stories of Jim Ross’ time in WWE is that of legend but he has never been welcomed to this new era of the company in an official capacity.

With many wrestling fans considering JR an ultimate voice in professional wrestling, Jim Ross deserves to have a few more major WWE moments.

We’ll have to see what the future holds but it would be really lovely to have some Good Ol’ JR back in WWE someday.

2. Haku

Haku is a professional wrestling legend with a career that spanned WWF and WCW – plus wild tales of his outside-of-the-ring antics.

When Jacob Fatu captured his first singles title in WWE, winning the United States Championship at WrestleMania 41 – he was greeted by Haku who appeared at ringside to congratulate him.

Considered one of the toughest wrestlers of all time, Haku’s endorsement of Jacob Fatu was entirely fitting to the latter’s character – but was also a fun surprise.

Perhaps just making a few big special appearances rather than actually becoming a regular on TV, Haku should definitely re-sign with WWE and pop-up every now and again, perhaps even managing his sons Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Hikuleo.

1. Ric Flair

AEW Ric Flair

Ric Flair certainly should not return to WWE as an in-ring performer  – but it would be fun to see the 16-time world champion make the occasional appearance.

However, with Flair still signed to AEW, that is not currently possible, despite not being seen on Tony Khan’s programming since Revolution 2024.

Flair reportedly remains under contract with AEW until “Late 2025”, so it won’t be too long until he can potentially make a WWE return, with there perhaps still being time for the Nature Boy to share a screen with the man who broke his world title record – John Cena.

It certainly seems that Ric Flair will eventually make his way back to WWE, even if only with a new Legends contract, but we will likely have to wait until later in the year to find out whether this happens.
