Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee are both fairly new to All Elite Wrestling.
They both were immediately thrown in the mix together feuding with members of Team Taz.
On the April 13th, 2022 episode of Dynamite, Swerve and Lee had a tremendous tag match with Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks.
After showing some great chemistry together the team looks to be continuing on as a tag team for now.
AEW’s tag team division is one of the deepest in all of pro wrestling and we will explore 5 potential tag teams Swerve and Lee could wrestle.
5. Top Flight

One of AEW’s youngest and highest flying teams is the brother duo of Dante and Darius Martin.
Top Flight has already engaged in some great battles with the likes of The Young Bucks, The Inner Circle and The Dark Order.
The veterans of Swerve and Lee paired with the young spirits of Top Flight would make for a great back and forth battle with mind blowing elements.
Top Flight are still getting their footing back as a team so a match with Lee and Swerve would be a big test.
Keith Lee in the ring with two as quick as Top Flight is always an intriguing dynamic.
4. Private Party

Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy are along those same lines as Top Flight, young, hungry and always ready to electrify.
Private Party is one of the premier tag teams when it comes to needing a great match.
The tag team maneuvers Private Party have in their arsenal against moves like the double stomp/spirit bomb finisher of Lee and Swerve would create great entertainment.
Private Party brings an energy that would bring out a different side in Swerve and Lee.
This match would set the stage for any Dynamite and would be even more insane on pay-per-view.
3. FTR

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been having classic matches with EVERYONE in the world.
The way that FTR works tag matches in contrast with Lee and Swerve would make for an intriguing match up.
FTR would look to slow down the two but Swerve and Lee have shown that they can get a tag team off their game.
With how many championships FTR could possess at any given time, a title stipulation would up the ante even more.
This tag team main event would be a hard one to follow.
2. Jurassic Express

The AEW Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus have been on a great run defending the belts.
Jungle Boy has already tweeted the eye emoji at a video of Swerve and Lee in a match.
Jurassic Express go to another level when those titles are on the line so it would be interesting to see Swerve and Lee’s gameplan.
Luchasaurus squaring off with Keith Lee in a battle of some big boys is something the AEW crowd would eat up.
Curious to see if Lee and Swerve stay together long enough to earn a tag team title match.
1. The Young Bucks

Nick and Matt Jackson are the measuring stick when it comes to tag team wrestling in AEW.
The Young Bucks vs any tag team in the world is a main event on any night of the week on any show.
The Bucks have stated they don’t have too many more of these long, brutal tag team classics so the time is now for all the dream matches.
Swerve was featured in a classic with The Young Bucks in Rev Pro in the UK so I would like to see them in the ring again.
Keith Lee tossing both Bucks all over the arena is a sight we all need to witness.
The progression of this tag team moving forward is a story to be told.
The choice of oppenents is plentiful for the team but the real measure is how long they will get along.
