WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green reunited with her former manager following her match on Tuesday’s edition of NXT.
The SmackDown star returned to NXT on the March 4 show, teaming with Piper Niven to face off against Sol Ruca and Zaria.
The NXT team was ultimately victorious, with Sol Ruca pinning the Women’s US Champion to win the match for her team.
WWE has now shared a digital exclusive video showing Green reuniting with a familiar face backstage.
With Green refusing an interview while looking for Piper Niven, Mr Stone entered to argue that it’s like the match didn’t even happen because he wasn’t informed of Green’s return ahead of time.
The segment – which you can watch below – ended with Stone definitively telling the camera that the match never happened.
Mr Stone – Robert Stone – was Green’s manager on NXT in 2020, during her first run with WWE.
Chelsea Green is the inaugural WWE Women’s US Champion, winning the gold at the December 14, 2024 Saturday Night’s Main Event show.
