CM Punk has revealed what aspects of his past persona he doesn’t miss from his first run in WWE, which ended in 2014.
Signing a developmental contract in 2005, CM Punk would go on to become the ECW Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, and WWE Champion, along with leading the Straight Edge Society and The New Nexus.
The cover star of this year’s WWE 2K26 video game, CM Punk is also the focus of Showcase Mode, taking players through historic moments in his career.
WWE 2K26 Showcase Mode was recently explored by IGN, with the Second City Saint revealed two aspects of his past in WWE that he doesn’t want to revisit.
Asked if he ever missed the Straight Edge Society mask, Punk was emphatic in his response, saying:
“My mask? Errrr. No, and I don’t miss that hair either.”
Punk saying he doesn’t miss his long hair comes after the World Heavyweight Champion recently stating that he wishes he could shave his head again.
Laughing as he watched himself come out to the ring in his Straight Edge Society persona in video game form, Punk went on to say:
“Missing some tattoos. Still got a messed-up right elbow. The right gear. Wow, you guys went all out here.”
