With Rhea Ripley set to compete for a championship at WrestleMania 42, a fellow WWE star has shared their praise.
Standing victorious after the women’s Elimination Chamber match, Rhea Ripley heads to WrestleMania 42 on April 18 or 19 to face Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship.
While Cargill may have less than kind things to say about her WrestleMania opponent, Chelsea Green was much more positive in a recent message.
A Twitter user pointed out that Ripley will be competing in her seventh championship match at WrestleMania in a row this year, with Ripley having competed with a title on the line at every WrestleMania since 36 in 2020.
Chelsea Green has commented on Ripley’s streak of WrestleMania title matches, responding:
“Rhea is proof that you can be kind, respectful and the most talented wrestler in the world.”
In 2020, Ripley made her WrestleMania debut, losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair at the March 2020 Premium Live Event.
The following year would see Ripley defeat Asuka to become WWE Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tulsa
The Women’s Tag Team Championship changed hands at WrestleMania 38, with Naomi & Sasha Banks defeating previous champions Carmella & Queen Zelina, Natalya & Shayna Baszler, and the team of Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan in 2022.
WrestleMania 39 in April 2023 saw Rhea Ripley defeat Charlotte Flair to become the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Ripley would retain the WWE Women’s World Championship, defeating Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40 in 2024.
Last year, Ripley and Bianca Belair were both unsuccessful in unseating IYO SKY as WWE Women’s World Champion in a Triple Threat at last year’s WrestleMania 41.
