Seth Rollins has provided an update on his injury, recovery, and the potential timeline for a return to WWE.

Rollins suffered a shoulder injury in his match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel on October 11.

This led to him vacating the World Heavyweight Championship, and WWE having to change a lot of major plans for the imminent Survivor Series ‘WarGames’ event and heading into WrestleMania season.

On the latest episode of Bert Kreischer’s Something’s Burning show, Rollins was on as a guest alongside his wife Becky Lynch, and discussed his injury.

Rollins said:

“I’m trying to find the silver linings.

“I get to spend more time with my daughter, which is great. More time at home.

“Once I get this thing (cast) off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while before I lock in and have to start training to get ready to come back.

“It’ll probably be gradual. I don’t even really know.

“My guess is about 8-12 weeks of like, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an asshole.’ Probably 12 weeks.

“Plus we’ll be moving right into WrestleMania season, so I’m hoping around February, after all the Holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Okay, lock in, no more BS.'”

The originally planned team for the heel men’s WarGames match this year was reportedly set to be Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory.

With plans adjusted due to Rollins’ absence, the team is Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
