Nikki Bella has addressed why she turned on WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer heading into Survivor Series.
Bella is set to challenge Vaquer for the title at the PLE this Saturday.
Since returning to WWE as a regular on Raw, Bella had buddied up to Vaquer and formed a partnership with her, only to attack her and target her championship.
In a new interview with ESPN, Bella has explained her actions, saying:
“I did come back and I am from a different era, and I have something to prove.
“And sometimes, we have to prove that in different ways.
“Nice can get you so far, but sometimes you’ve gotta be bad to get what you really want.
“So I feel like the only way I could really get what I want is to go in that direction.”

Commenting on what to expect from the match on Saturday, the WWE Hall of Famer added:
“A lot of intensity.
“I think what makes this match really special is you are seeing two women from two different eras, two different mentalities, and there’s gonna be a lot emotion.
“So I think no matter what the outcome is gonna be this Saturday, it’s gonna definitely leave you feeling very interested in what’s to come next.”
