More WWE and AEW stars have pledged donations to support Ridge Holland and his family following his exit from the company.
Holland, real name Luke Menzies, has been vocal about the circumstances of WWE’s decision not to renew his contract.
Having just suffered a serious injury and undergoing surgery, the decision leaves him without any guaranteed income and unable to earn any money by wrestling for upwards of half a year while he recovers.
With his contract due to expire on November 14, WWE actually decided to terminate his contract early, preventing him from another week-plus of earnings, due to his public comments on the situation.
As such, a GoFundMe has been launched with names from the wrestling world contributing to support Menzies and his family.
As reported earlier, Chelsea Green submitted a donation of $1000 monthly.
In the meantime, more donations have come in, with another WWE star – Omos – also donating $1000 monthly.
Also, AEW stars Nick Jackson and TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher have donated $1000 each.
Former WWE Champion Raj Dhesi, known as Jinder Mahal during his time with the company, donated $1000 as well.
The GoFundMe can be found at this link.
We continue to wish Menzies and his family all the best.
