GUNTHER has commented following his WWE return and advancing in the John Cena ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament.
On Raw this past Monday, GUNTHER defeated NXT’s Je’Von Evans to advance in the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament to determine who will face John Cena in his final match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
The Austrian is now at the quarter-final stage where he joins Jey Uso, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Sheamus and Rusev who have won first round matches so far.
The first round matches that have yet to take place are Carmelo Hayes vs Bronson Reed, and Finn Balor vs Penta.
In a new video he posted on social media today, GUNTHER has commented following his win against Evans, proclaiming that “the last time is me.”
He said:
“A very successful comeback. First round completed. On to next week. The Last Time Is Now tournament.
“But I think it’s no secret – the last time is me. The Ring General.”
