An injury update has emerged for Bronson Reed, who suffered a distal biceps tear on the recent episode of WWE Raw.
The February 23 episode of WWE Raw saw Bronson Reed in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Jey Uso and The Original El Grande Americano.
Uso would go on to win the match, with Reed picking up an injury as he went to break up a pinfall attempt, being attended to by medical personnel outside the ring.
An update has now emerged on the injury, courtesy of PWInsider, who state that the WWE star was sent to Birmingham, Alabama, right after Raw.
According to the report, Reed will “undergo surgery shortly”, assuming it has not yet already taken place.
With the previous report noting that Reed will be out of action ‘indefinitely’, PWInsider states that there is no indication as to how long the WWE star will be off screens.
The injury has an impact beyond Elimination Chamber on February 28, with Reed originally planned to have won the qualifier and been factored into plans for WrestleMania 42.
WrestleTalk wishes Bronson Reed well in his recovery from the biceps injury.
