With Becky Lynch set to face AJ Lee at WWE Elimination Chamber, Seth Rollins has addressed the upcoming championship match.

The February 28 PLE will see Becky Lynch put the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against AJ Lee, with the two last having competed at last year’s Survivor Series WarGames.

The women’s WarGames match would see Team Rhea (Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and IYO SKY) defeat Team Asuka (Asuka, Becky Lynch, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and Kairi Sane).

With AJ Lee having forced Becky Lynch to tap to secure the win, Seth Rollins has addressed his real-life wife’s chances at this year’s Elimination Chamber.

During an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, Rollins would predict that Lynch will ‘wipe the floor with AJ Lee’, saying:

“Tapping out? (to AJ Lee at Survivor Series) There was a lot going on. My wife said there was insects in the ring. She said she wasn’t really tapping out.

“Either way, my wife is going to make sure the world knows who is the greatest female wrestler of all time. It’s not just me saying it, other people saying it. The Man Becky Lynch, Big Time Becks, she’s the Intercontinental Champion, she put that title on the map.

“She’s gonna wipe the floor with AJ Lee. This is AJ Lee’s first singles match in a decade. In a decade. She doesn’t stand a chance. My wife is gonna lock and rock baby.”

Insects had been the apparent reason that Becky Lynch was seen tapping to Maxxine Dupri back in December of last year, with WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce sharing his response in the form of a song.

Lynch has also shared her thoughts on her Elimination Chamber opponent, saying “she will be the least talented AJ to retire this year.”

With Seth Rollins currently sidelined through injury, he would also share his thoughts on who will win the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
