After last competing at AEW All In last year, an absent AEW is seemingly in preparation for an in-ring return.
A former AEW World Women’s Champion, Thunder Rosa confirmed she was taking time away, although a return may be in her near future.
It had previously been reported that Thunder Rosa had sustained an undisclosed injury, with no timeline for her return to the ring.
In a recent vlog on her YouTube channel, the AEW star gave an update while backstage at a recent show, saying:
“I’m here, at AEW, getting ready, warming up for my second week of training.
“I’m gonna make sure… I’m totally warmed up, because we’re going to do half an hour in the ring.
“So, that’s what we’re doing. In the meantime, I’ve gotta run the stairs.”

We’d see Thunder Rosa running the stairs and out into the backstage area of the venue, where she would come across Mina Shirakawa and Toni Storm.
Noting that Shirakawa stole her tag team partner and photographer, Rosa would be greeted by an emotional Storm who said that the Timeless Love Bombs were “having a terrible time”.
The trio would get reacquainted, albeit briefly, before the video would move to a moment between Thunder Rosa and her father.
Thunder Rosa’s AEW return date hasn’t been confirmed at the time of writing.
