The participants in the 2025 AEW Continental Classic tournament have officially been announced by the promotion.
The Continental Classic will kick off on this week’s November 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, and is the third annual edition of the tournament.
AEW aired a video on social media today with Tony Schiavone announcing the entrants this year.
In the Gold League are Darby Allin, Pac, Kevin Knight, Speedball Mike Bailey, Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada.
The Blue League is made up of Konosuke Takeshita, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Mascara Dorada.
In the league phase, everyone in the Gold League will face each other and everyone in the Blue League will face each other, accumulating points throughout with one point for a draw and three points for a win.
Then, the top two in each league will advance to the semi-finals – #1 in Gold will face #2 in Blue, and #2 in Gold will face #1 in Blue.
The winners of the semi-finals will then face each other in the Continental Classic tournament final.
The semi-finals and final will all take place at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view on December 27.
The previous winners of the Continental Classic are Eddie Kingston in 2023 and Kazuchika Okada in 2024.
