An absent AEW star was recently at an event and seemingly came close to a photo opportunity with WWE’s Charlotte Flair.
Britt Baker hasn’t been in action since her victory over Penelope Ford on the November 12 episode of AEW Dynamite in 2024.
Tony Khan recently shared an update on Baker’s status in AEW, noting that he hoped to see her back soon.
While Baker may not be on AEW television, she was recently at the Daytona 500, sharing a photo on Twitter at the NASCAR event, with the post bearing a checkered flag emoji.
A fan noted that Charlotte Flair was also in attendance at the Daytona 500, with the WWE star sharing photos of her own on Twitter.
With the fan in question commenting that Baker and Flair didn’t get a photo together, despite being in the same place, the AEW star responded:
“We tried!💔😩”
Britt Baker was the fourth AEW Women’s World Champion, winning the title at Double or Nothing in May 2021 and losing it 290 days later to Thunder Rosa at the St Patrick’s Day Slam episode of Dynamite in March the following year.
