WWE Tag Teams Splitting Up At WrestleMania 41

WWE WrestleMania 41 is right around the corner and there could be some surprises in store in Las Vegas throughout the two-night event.

Among those surprises is the possibility of a few tag teams splitting up and going their separate ways.

Here are seven tag teams that could split up at WrestleMania.

7. The New Bloodline

While Solo Sikoa still remains without a match at WrestleMania 41 at time of writing, he has been teased to go head-to-head against Randy Orton.

However, with the much more compelling story evolving of Jacob Fatu becoming the latest enforcer to overthrow the leader of the Bloodline, by the end of the weekend it would make sense to see their alliance implode.

With Tonga Loa still out of action due to injury, there would be a hanging question mark regarding where both he and Tama Tonga’s allegiances fall in the aftermath of Las Vegas.

It certainly seems like Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are headed for an inevitable showdown – perhaps it officially kicks off at WrestleMania 41.

6. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Going into WrestleMania 41 the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are standing tall – albeit with some cracks to their friendship.

With Morgan continuing to treat Rodriguez like a sidekick, perhaps WrestleMania 41 will see the pair actually split up.

In the event the pair loses their tag team titles, their alliance may come crashing down.

While it is more likely that it would be a surprise babyface turn for Rodriguez to topple the heel Morgan, it could always go the other way considering Morgan’s popularity.

5. Melo Don’t Miz

Leading up to WrestleMania 41, the budding alliance between Carmelo Hayes and The Miz spawned their tag team, “Melo Don’t Miz”.

However a potential appearance on the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ together could prove to be their last act as a duo if they’re to end up splitting at WrestleMania 41.

The moment potentially could set up the debut of Trick Williams, who could rush to Melo’s aid after the Miz turns on him (in a babyface making moment), or assist Hayes in waging a savage beat down on the veteran (cementing their heel status).

Whether or not a third-party has anything to do with their break-up, The Miz and Carmelo Hayes could definitely split at WrestleMania 41, or possibly even the SmackDown before in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

4. Judgment Day

No matter how you look at it, it really seems as though Judgment Day could be heading for their last days at WrestleMania 41.

With both Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor in competition against each other for Bron Breakker’s Intercontinental Championship in a four-way match that also includes Penta, there is already-built tension heading into the event.

Since Finn Balor’s closer ally JD McDonagh is reportedly nearing a return, it is unlikely that Balor will be running solo.

Rather, he may split from Dirty Dom and Carlito in order to start his own group with Balor and McDonagh at the helm, or they could just continue as a tag team.

3. Imperium (GUNTHER & Ludwig Kaiser)

While their group originally had a third member in Giovanni Vinci, since his departure the duo of GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser have remained a force.

However, it seems as though Kaiser continues to have a quest for more whereas GUNTHER is struggling to hold on to what he has now.

With Kaiser recently being brought up within the Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton feud, perhaps his storyline heading out of WrestleMania 41 will be surrounding more personal matters.

Especially in the event GUNTHER loses the WWE World Championship to Jey Uso, Ludwig Kaiser might be ready to ditch his ‘Ring General’ to continue to carve his own path.

2. The Pure Fusion Collective

While fans did not like their team name, most didn’t dislike the Pure Fusion Collective team as a whole.

Shayna Baszler continues to be in a tag team with Zoey Stark, despite the third member of their faction, Sonya Deville, having departed WWE.

Since the departure of Deville, the team has wrestled together twice on WWE TV, but have gone winless.

Shayna Baszler may be looking to free herself up for a potential future singles feud whereas Zoey Stark could possibly use a return to NXT to rebrand herself.

1. A-Town Down Under

With the WWE Draft coming up after WrestleMania, it would kind of make sense for this long suffering duo to finally split.

While Austin Theory and Grayson Waller didn’t make the cut to be on the main card for WrestleMania, they may well appear in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before Mania.

Given the competitive nature of the pair, tensions could certainly boil over, and with the ability to make a dramatic and clean break in Las Vegas, there could be some really funny stories that come from their break-up occurring in Sin City.

Potentially reunited by the end of the tumultuous WrestleMania weekend, it would just be nice to see these two have something entertaining to do.
