WWE Survivor Series 2025 WarGames Teams

With WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025 coming up in November, speculation has already begun regarding which stars will make the teams.

From resurrecting the brand warfare concept to throwing a celebration of all things Cena, there are some incredible options for WarGames teams this year.

Here are seven WWE Survivor Series 2025 WarGames teams that could form for San Diego.

7. Team Cena vs. Team McIntyre

With Survivor Series marking the last premium live event appearance of John Cena – as his last match is set for a couple of weeks later on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event – it seems certain he will factor into the event in a big way.

One massive send-off for John Cena could be to see him be the head of an all-star WarGames team to take on some of WWE’s top current heels.

Team Cena could feature John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio & CM Punk taking on Team McIntyre with Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Dominik Mysterio & Seth Rollins.

Swapping out Lesnar for Bron Breakker or Bronson Reed would be totally possible, while on the babyface side if, Randy Orton is out of action, Jey Uso or LA Knight could be added.

6. WWE Raw Women’s Showdown

Given all of the storylines that are intersecting on WWE Raw, there could be a very fun women’s WarGames match featuring the stars from the Monday night staple.

Since it certainly seems that Asuka is turning heel, it may make sense for her to head up a heel team with Kairi Sane, Roxanne Perez, Becky Lynch and Bayley.

Taking on the babyfaces of IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, AJ Lee and Nikki Bella, there could be some incredible action and nostalgic fun rolled into one bout.

In the event Liv Morgan is able to return ahead of the November 29 date, she would be likely to sub in on the babyface team, creating some fascinating dynamics.

5. Mixed Match Chaos

Marking the first time for a mixed tag WarGames match, Survivor Series 2025 could make history if there were to be a battle featuring both sexes.

With currently intersecting storylines, it could  make sense to see the team of CM Punk, AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso and a returning Liv Morgan join forces.

They could take on the heel squad of Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Roxanne Perez, Dominik Mysterio & Bayley.

Potentially needing to add names in order to support more spots throughout, the teams could shift from 5 each to 8 each – with the respective heels and babyfaces left to reveal at the event who they found from SmackDown to join their teams.

4. Raw vs. SmackDown

Although largely abandoned in favor of more storyline driven bouts in recent years, there could be a resurrection of the brand warfare aspect of Survivor Series by making the WarGames teams by brand.

Putting a pause on the major feuds going on within each brand in order to work together could throw an interesting spin into the current storylines.

Also, there could be another fun twist if respective GMs, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, made their WWE in-ring debuts as members of the teams.

Seeing Adam Pearce lead CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Roman Reigns into battle against Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul & John Cena would be a once in a lifetime affair.

3. The Bloodline vs. Solo Sikoa & MFT

While the Bloodline has already dominated the return of the WarGames concept in WWE, there is still another battle left to be fought.

The OG Bloodline took on Solo Sikoa’s new iteration of the Bloodline in 2024, but now there is an entirely new configuration of the family stables.

In a match that could see Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Tama Tonga face off against Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa – there could be room for one more man on each team.

With Roman Reigns potentially able to join team Bloodline, perhaps it would be the debut of Lance Anoa’i, Zilla Fatu or even the return of The Rock could link up with Solo Sikoa.

2. Tag Team WarGames

Rather than the traditional set up of singles stars uniting in team effort, a six-on-six match could lead to a tag team version of WarGames.

Still able to stick to a Raw vs SmackDown concept, it could be New Day’s Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston with Grayson Waller teaming up with American Made’s Julius & Brutus Creed and El Grande Americano representing WWE Raw.

The group could take on the top teams of DIY, the Street Profits and Motor City Machine Guns from SmackDown.

Bringing together veterans of WarGames matches in NXT who are proven to deliver, the bout could showcase the tag team division that is often overlooked amongst WWE’s big feuds.

1. WWE Women’s Eras WarGames

There is a rare opportunity for some of the biggest names of multiple generations of WWE talent to share the ring at the same time – a moment that shouldn’t be missed.

Able to use different groups to represent different eras in the history of the WWE women’s division, there could be a really cool version of WarGames that served a sentimental purpose.

For example, there could be one team featuring AJ Lee, Nikki Bella, Natalya and returning legend Paige taking on another team of Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.

Adding in a villain era squad of Chelsea Green, Roxanne Perez, Asuka & Nia Jax – many of WWE’s biggest women’s rivalries could be accounted for.
