Throughout 2025, the WWE Raw roster has seen a lot of turnover and change with several stars leaving and arriving on the brand.
From the arrival of Penta and Stephanie Vaquer to the departures of Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest and Sami Zayn these roster changes have totally altered the identity of the red brand dramatically.
Before the close of the year, there should be even more exits from the Raw roster that could see some major adjustments to how the brand looks.
Here are eight WWE stars to potentially leave Raw.
8. Logan Paul
Logan Paul was one of the major acquisitions for Monday Night Raw at the start of 2025 and their move to Netflix.
The former WWE United States Champion looked destined to become one of the top stars of the red brand, but it doesn’t look meant to be.
At the beginning of the summer, Paul started to appear more on Friday Night SmackDown and has since continued to do so.
Logan Paul is now one of the main event talents on the SmackDown roster and should officially leave Raw.

7. AJ Styles
On the September 1 edition of WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio defeated AJ Styles to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
After months of chasing Mysterio and the title, Styles seemingly now has to move on or regroup to make another attempt at the gold.
“The Phenomenal One” remains one of the most consistent and reliable in-ring performers in the company today and WWE should get the most out of his time with the company considering his reported contract expiry date of February 2026.
Looking at the SmackDown main event picture, Styles could be a significant addition that helps the overall quality of the blue brand, with it fitting that he ends his WWE tenure in the “House That AJ Styles Built”.

6. American Made (Chad Gable, Ivy Nile, Julius & Brutus Creed)
Back in 2024, Chad Gable left the Alpha Academy and formed the American Made faction.
Joining forces with Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers, Gable set out to have better luck than he was able to achieve with the Academy.
However, this did not happen as American Made have not been able to capture a ton of momentum or championship gold on Monday Night Raw.
Looking to change their fortunes, American Made’s Gable, Nile and The Creeds could make the move to WWE SmackDown where they could benefit several different divisions of the brand.

5. El Grande Americano
Since making his debut in 2025, El Grande Americano has become one of the most prominently featured acts on WWE TV.
From his efforts on Monday Night Raw to becoming one of the WWE stars transitioning to Lucha Libre AAA, Americano has proven to be someone the company will rely on.
There are various other luchadors and Mexican stars for Americano to compete against on SmackDown like Rey Fenix and Santos Escobar.
Americano going after the United States Championship or mixing it up with main eventers like Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton could prove to be some entertaining television.

4. Lyra Valkyria
At WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night Two, Becky Lynch defeated Lyra Valkyria to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Thanks to this loss, Valkyria can no longer challenge for the Women’s I.C. Title as long as Lynch is the champion.
Looking at the stacked WWE Raw women’s division, there might not be any room for Valkyria to move into the upper echelon and challenge for the Women’s World Championship.
Lyra moving to SmackDown could definitely help their women’s division and see her potentially mix it up with Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair or Giulia for championship gold.

3. Ilja Dragunov
Back in September 2024, Ilja Dragunov suffered a torn ACL that has kept him sidelined for the past year.
Ever since getting called up to the WWE main roster, Dragunov has been part of the Monday Night Raw roster.
“The Mad Dragon” has everything it takes to rise up the ladder and become a main event player on Raw or SmackDown.
Moving over to the blue brand, Dragunov is known as one of the best in-ring competitors on the WWE roster today and could solidify that by clashing with the top talent on SmackDown, such as Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu.

2. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Grayson Waller)
In June, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defeated The New Day to win the World Tag Team Championships.
Since then, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been joined by their new friend “Big G” Grayson Waller in grieving the loss of their titles.
Throughout this year, the SmackDown tag team division has received an increased focus and spotlight that has made it one of the highlights of the entire brand.
The New Day joining the likes of Street Profits, DIY and Motor City Machine Guns could further bolster the tag team scene in a major way.

1. GUNTHER
At WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night One, CM Punk defeated GUNTHER to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
“The Ring General” has been sidelined ever since with a reported nose injury and surgery.
Looking to get a fresh start when he does in fact return, GUNTHER could make the move to WWE SmackDown where he started his main roster run.
GUNTHER leaving Raw may just be one of the more consequential moves between the two brands that fans could see in recent memory.
