With Drew McIntyre continuing to target WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on SmackDown, he may be looking to assemble a new faction.
From potential allies of Cody’s that Drew could steal away to underutilized talent from the women’s division – there are some intriguing prospects of who could join a heel stable led by Drew McIntyre.
Here are eight WWE stars that could join a new Drew McIntyre faction.
8. Logan Paul

One of the most openly despised heels in WWE is Logan Paul – which Drew McIntyre could look to exploit.
Already having linked up at SummerSlam 2025 to take on the pairing of celebrity guest Jelly Roll and Randy Orton – this partnership already has foundations.
Able to always ramp up his heel persona, Logan Paul is the perfect troll addition to McIntyre’s squad to make periodic appearances.
He can drop in for a big match or to deliver a scathing promo rather than being an ever appearance member of the faction, Paul is more like an affiliate who can be called in to make a big interference when needed.

7. Randy Orton

While Drew McIntyre is gunning for Cody Rhodes, he may need to find some allies in his chase of the WWE Championship.
However the most intriguing potential choice might be Randy Orton.
With the respectful rivalry between Rhodes and Orton seemingly always on the verge of spilling over into a war – Orton has remained a babyface as of late.
However, after suffering a series of recent losses – perhaps The Viper could be looking to resurrect a more vicious edge in partnership with fellow veteran McIntyre.

6. Alba Fyre

Drew McIntyre would be well suited to make sure that his stable had a female affiliate in order to fend off any potential interlopers.
A potential choice to join the squad would be fellow Scottish born star, Alba Fyre.
While Fyre remains partnered with Piper Niven and Chelsea Green – her in-ring skills are exceptional in singles competition as well.
Perhaps able to leverage a shift to a faction into debuting a more vicious side to her character, the return of the former NXT UK Champion iteration of Fyre could make her return to WWE.

5. Carmelo Hayes

If Drew McIntyre were looking a recruit a stable of slightly disgruntled albeit ambitious stars – Carmelo Hayes would be a perfect shout.
Potentially able to find a new direction in a heel stable, Hayes could be a great sneaky henchman for McIntyre.
Able to demonstrate loyalty to the veteran McIntyre, he could end up having a path towards feuds with top babyfaces that otherwise wouldn’t have made as much sense.
Also potentially paving the way for a call-up to the main roster for Melo’s former partner-in-crime Trick Williams, perhaps Trick Melo Gang could be reunited by Drew McIntyre.

4. The New Day

Adding an experienced tag team to his stable, McIntyre would be wise to recruit one of the best teams in WWE history.
Potentially able to scoop up the pair of veterans from their current comedic bend on WWE Raw, McIntyre could inspire a whole new side of the New Day.
While McIntyre isn’t openly anti-authority, he has made it clear that he believes that some stars are more catered to than others – an accusation that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have also lobbed in the past.
Taking the heel New Day and bringing them back around to a more serious, violent and threatening version could be achieved through a partnership with McIntyre.

3. Sheamus

While Sheamus has continued to be presented as a babyface, it could be that he is finally fed up.
If he were to form a disgruntled gentlemen’s guild along with Drew McIntyre, there could be a powerful alliance.
Since their on-again and off-again friendship is a legendary one in WWE, the duo of Sheamus and Drew could have easily had an off-screen reconciliation to bring the group together.
Potentially looking to align with other overlooked veterans – there could be a new contender for most dangerous faction in WWE.

2. Ivy Nile

Perhaps looking to add a scrappy female force to the group, Ivy Nile continues to be underutilized on WWE Raw.
While the Creed Brothers would also be a solid get for McIntyre, Nile could use the opportunity to stand out from the faction.
Providing a space for her to utilize her athleticism and vicious tendencies in a singles capacity, the move could easily be explained through a WWE Draft pick – and reversed later if necessary.
Able to add depth to her character but not formally break away from the Creed Brothers – Nile could be a powerful ally to McIntyre who could use her speed in plenty of chicanery.

1. Rusev

After much anticipation, Rusev made his return to WWE in April 2025.
While he has had a heated feud with Sheamus since returning to WWE, perhaps their bond could end up forged through combat.
Bringing together a super group like McIntyre, Rusev (and of course, Sheamus) could put a modern spin on the League of Nations but of course, subbing in McIntyre as the leader.
If presented as an actually dominant heel faction, McIntyre could lead the group of veteran stars into a brand new era of their collective careers.
