WWE Stars To Join New Bayley Faction

Due to a mysterious backstage attack ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41, Bayley saw with her spot on the card filled by Becky Lynch.

This week, on Raw, Bayley’s attacker revealed herself to be Lynch, with The Man now set to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Backlash on May 10.

A return to television for Bayley is surely on the horizon, perhaps even as soon as Backlash itself, but there’s a chance she may not come back alone.

If Bayley were to form a new faction upon her return, here are some possible WWE stars who could align with her:

5. Lyra Valkyria

The current Intercontinental Champion is certainly the most obvious choice to align with Bayley.

With Lynch both costing Bayley her spot on the WrestleMania 41 card, as well as brutally turning heel on Lyra Valkyria, there is a heavy incentive for revenge from both women.

It makes sense that an allegiance would form and we could even see this become official at Backlash, potentially making way for more names to join up with the Role Model.

With Becky Lynch potentially seeking new allies of her own, or even joining up with Paul Heyman’s new dangerous alliance, Bayley and Valkyria teaming up once again is a no brainer.

4. Kairi Sane & Asuka

The tag team of Kairi Sane and Asuka have both been out of action due to injuries, but with their returns reportedly imminent, their future direction remains unclear.

With IYO SKY atop the women’s division as the hugely popular WWE Women’s World Champion and Dakota Kai recently being released from the company, it seems that the Damage CTRL faction is no more.

The pair could either break up and work as singles competitors, going after titles on separate brands, or continue to team up as The Kabuki Warriors.

If they decide to continue as a tag team, perhaps Bayley can convince them to join her newly created faction, as long as she can forgive and forget her being ousted from Damage CTRL in favor of Kairi Sane and Asuka over a year ago.

3. Natalya

Natalya has been actively attempting to reinvent herself, working outside WWE for the first time since joining the company in 2007 and even returning to the name Nattie Neidhart.

So far, she has worked for the super-indie promotion GCW over WrestleMania weekend and will challenge NWA Women’s World Champion Kenzie Paige for the title at the Crockett Cup on 17 May.

This reinvention is clearly having some success, but the question is whether she can parlay it into a bigger role on WWE programming — a spot in a new Bayley-led faction could be just the opportunity she needs.

While she’s currently involved in a tag team storyline with Maxxine Dupri, it’s evident that Nattie isn’t convinced of their success – perhaps leading to her seeking an allegiance with a fellow veteran like Bayley instead.

2. Michin

Another worker arguably in need of reinvention is Michin.

The 36-year-old has only been featured marginally on WWE programming this year, most recently used seen in a partnership with B-Fab on SmackDown.

A highly talented and hard-working performer, the former Mia Yim is certainly deserving of a more significant opportunity.

A place in a new Bayley-led faction could be just what she needs to elevate her career.

1. Sol Ruca

NXT’s Sol Ruca is currently a double champion, holding both the NXT Women’s North American and Women’s Speed Championships.

Ruca is a sure-fire star for the future, highly charismatic and able to evoke babyface sympathy from a crowd.

It seems likely that a feud with her tag partner in NXT, Zaria, will lead to Ruca dropping the North American Title, before eventually moving to the main roster.

Her inclusion in a faction, eventually feuding with Bayley over its leadership, could be a perfect way to introduce Ruca to a larger WWE audience.
