WWE Stars Removed From Factions

WWE stars Roman Reigns and The Usos

There are several different WWE factions that have experienced some dissension in their ranks as of late.

Whether it be members looking to stand on their own or those showing weakness, these stables could be losing someone from their unit in the coming weeks and months.

From established main eventers to up-and-coming stars, these stars could get a fresh start outside of the confines of their particular groups in the near future.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially be removed from factions.

7. Dion Lennox from DarkState

Dion Lennox inadvertently cost Saquon Shugars his NXT North American Championship match on WWE NXT

Over the past few weeks, there has been some noticeable tensions within the group known as DarkState on NXT.

On the April 21 NXT Revenge Week 2 special, Myles Borne defeated Dion Lennox to retain the NXT North American Championship.

Following this loss, there has been some doubt towards Lennox’s place as a member of DarkState.

Wanting to become a singles star on his own, Lennox could choose to leave DarkState behind, looking to get a fresh start away from the faction that led to him becoming a champion in WWE NXT.

6. Saquon Shugars From DarkState

While Dion Lennox could be on his way out, Saquon Shugars could be the one who takes over a leadership position in DarkState.

However, Shugars’ most recent loss may have caused the same doubt from Dion Lennox towards him.

On the April 28 episode of WWE NXT, Myles Borne defeated Shugars to retain the NXT North American Championship.

After this loss, DarkState could choose to leave Shugars behind and rebuild their ranks without the loose cannon of the group.

5. Maxxine Dupri From Alpha Academy

Maxxine Dupri transitioned from the Maximum Male Models to the Alpha Academy in 2023

For the better part of four years, Maxxine Dupri has been a loyal member of the Alpha Academy faction.

Alongside Otis and Akira Tozawa, Dupri has grown into a capable in-ring competitor.

This led to 2025 where Dupri defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Over the past few weeks, fans have seen Austin Theory talking to Maxxine Dupri in the backstage area during episodes of WWE Raw, which could lead to her leaving Alpha Academy to join The Vision down the line.

4. Tama Tonga From The MFTs

WWE has been teasing a babyface turn for Tama Tonga throughout 2026

In recent months, Tama Tonga has been able to establish himself as a formidable singles star.

Picking up wins over the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Ilja Dragunov, Tonga has showcased why he has what it takes to be a singles champion in WWE.

This has led to some dissension with Solo Sikoa and his leadership of The MFTs faction.

Tama turning on Solo and leaving The MFTs would be an interesting story to tell, leading to a feud between the two stablemates moving forward.

3. Roxanne Perez from The Judgment Day

Roxanne Perez was brought into Judgment Day by Finn Balor when Liv Morgan was injured

On the March 9 edition of WWE Raw, The Judgment Day betrayed Finn Balor, turning on him with a four-on-one beatdown.

This betrayal has led to some tensions between Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez since it was Balor who brought ‘The Prodigy’ into The Judgment Day.

The April 27 episode of Monday Night Raw saw Balor approach Perez in the Judgment Day clubhouse to let him know that she cannot trust anyone from the stable.

Roxanne turning on The Judgment Day to reunite with Balor could lead to a compelling mixed tag team matchup with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio for an upcoming premium live event in the future.

2. Bron Breakker From The Vision

At WWE WrestleMania 42 night one, Bron Breakker made his return to the company for the first time in months.

Attacking Seth Rollins, Breakker cost ‘The Visionary’ his bout against GUNTHER at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’

Considering The Vision now consists of Logan Paul and Austin Theory, Breakker could split from the group and become a solo star.

Breakker leaving The Vision could accelerate his ascent to main event status sometime in the near future.

1. Roman Reigns From The Bloodline

Roman Reigns and The Usos have stood side by side since Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship win at WrestleMania 42

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

Following his victory, Reigns seemingly reunited with The Usos to reform The Bloodline and reunite his family.

“The OTC” feels like someone who can now stand on his own and does not need to have his family behind him the entire way like he once did.

With Jacob Fatu set to challenge his cousin for the title at WWE Backlash 2026, The Usos could choose “The Samoan Werewolf” over Reigns and recreate The Bloodline without “The OTC” moving forward.
