WWE Stars To Be Removed From Factions

With several dominant factions in WWE, a few could stand to perhaps lose a member in order to progress storylines forward.

While time in a faction can be precarious, a few WWE stars have good reason to be removed from their current groups to make their stories far more interesting.

Here are five WWE stars that could be removed from their factions.

5. Dominik Mysterio

Currently, all of the members of Judgment Day hold WWE Championships.

With Finn Balor and JD McDonagh holding the WWE World Tag Team Championship, Raquel Rodriguez and new member Roxanne Perez holding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – only Mysterio holds singles gold.

Seemingly most at risk for losing his championship, the longstanding assumption that Finn Balor would turn on Dominik Mysterio could turn out to be false.

Instead if Mysterio struck first by leaving the group, he could exit on his own terms – possibly even switching brands.

4. Dragon Lee

Dragon Lee is technically still a member of the LWO – but it is time for him to go his own way.

With Rey Mysterio and Joaquin Wilde out of action due to injury and Zelina Vega having departed the group after being drafted to SmackDown – it is basically just Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro left in action.

While the duo could definitely continue as a tag team – having teamed together with Lince Dorado at the AAA x NXT Worlds Collide event, it would also make sense for him just to go solo.

Or perhaps more interestingly, be drafted to WWE Raw and get partnered up with someone else entirely.

3. Tavion Heights

After Myles Borne won his way out of the No Quarter Catch Crew on NXT, the group was down to the trio of Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights and Wren Sinclair.

However, Tavion Heights is persistent in his request to depart the group including issuing a direct challenge to Dempsey.

Similarly to Borne, Heights is set for a one-on-one match with Charlie Dempsey and if he wins – he is out of the group.

While according to Charlie Dempsey, Heights requires more time training with the squad – it would make complete sense to see the real life Greco-Roman Olympian and World Bronze Medalist go solo.

2. Tama Tonga

With Solo Sikoa seemingly forming yet another iteration of the Bloodline – consisting of himself, Tonga Loa, Tala Tonga and JC Mateo – it remains unclear where Tama Tonga could end up.

Last being shown on screen squarely affiliated with Jacob Fatu, he was written off of WWE TV by an on-screen attack at the hands of LA Knight.

It was later revealed that he was taking time off to heal a legitimate injury.

While he is expected to return in the near future, he should definitely align with Jacob Fatu – and thereby leaving his Bloodline 2.0 faction behind.

1. Akira Tozawa

While the Alpha Academy has been incredibly fun – it has likely run its course as an active stable.

With Otis out of action due to injury, Maxxine Dupri seems poised to unite with Natalya as the duo have made their Dungeon Dolls tag team official.

Leaving Akira Tozawa potentially the odd one out, the star still is not only incredible impressive in the ring but also his compelling character makes fans want to root for him.

Potentially finding another run in NXT, Tozawa could end up taking a jaunt to a different roster until the return of Otis could reunite the Academy once more.
