WWE Stars To Join New CM Punk Faction

With Seth Rollins continuing to establish his own stable in WWE, CM Punk could be assembling his own faction of rebels.

Likely to look for others to fight against the dominant group of Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Big Bronson Reed – CM Punk has some majorly intriguing options.

Here are six WWE stars that could join a new CM Punk faction.

6. Roman Reigns

Throughout their on-screen interactions, CM Punk and Roman Reigns haven’t particularly gone at it with one another directly.

While Reigns doesn’t owe Punk any favors, they could definitely be bonded by their hatred for several common enemies.

With both having been betrayed by Paul Heyman at WrestleMania 41, they’ve both also been on the receiving end of beatings from Bron Breakker and share a deep hatred of Seth Rollins.

As the saying goes, ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’, and Punk and Reigns happen to share a list of enemies.

5. Jey Uso

A valuable ally to anyone on the WWE roster, fan favorite Jey Uso is a good person to have on your side.

Punk has been social with Uso in the past but perhaps current circumstances would help to push the World Heavyweight Champion’s hand in collecting CM Punk as a valuable ally.

Jey Uso is already set to join forces with another big fan favorite in Cody Rhodes at the upcoming Money in the Bank event, so he won’t necessarily be free for tag team action in Los Angeles.

4. AJ Styles

Potentially bonding over their veteran status, perhaps CM Punk could recruit AJ Styles to his stable.

While there would probably be young upstarts in the group as well, there would be no better pair of mentors for potential faction members than the combined ring expertise of CM Punk and AJ Styles.

Easily able to set up a future storyline where their proteges turn against them, there could be a really fun dynamic on-screen between Styles and Punk as partners as well.

Similarly to Randy Orton in the past, AJ Styles should get at least a short term opportunity to show off a little bit of a lighter side to his character.

3. Ricky Saints

Although he only recently signed with WWE, Ricky Saints has already made a big impression in NXT, capturing the North American Championship and fans’ attention.

Having already been acknowledged on WWE TV as being touted by CM Punk as a future star in WWE, it would make sense to see Saints called up to join a Punk led faction.

Able to easily go toe-to-toe on the microphone with anyone in Seth Rollins’ faction, Saints could end up being a valuable ally to Punk in more ways than one.

While Saints may be likely sticking around NXT, he would absolutely be able to succeed on the main roster if drafted in 2025.

2. Ethan Page

While Ethan Page hasn’t made it to the main roster yet, he has already had a run-in with CM Punk in NXT.

With the CW premiere episode of WWE NXT going off air after with delivering a GTS to Page, NXT fans would certainly remember there there may not be any love between these two.

However, similar to the logic of Seth Rollins recruiting former rival Bronson Reed, perhaps Punk would respect Page’s efforts enough to seek him out.

While Punk remains a babyface, he has demonstrated that certain situations could call for assistance from a morally dubious character like Page – making it certain he’d see the benefit in having All Ego around.

1. Ilja Dragunov

If CM Punk were looking for someone who would be not only willing, but happy, to attempt to destroy Bron Breakker, it might be Ilja Dragunov.

While the former NXT Champion has been out of action since September 2024, there are varying reports regarding his potential return timeline.

However, if he were to return in the near future, CM Punk would be wise to select the Mad Dragon for his stable.

With the history between Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov, it would make complete sense for Punk to stoke the flames of this rivalry as well.
