With rumors that Chris Jericho could possibly look to return to WWE at the end of his current AEW contract, he may need new allies.
Looking to link up with others on the roster upon his return, Jericho could establish a legendary new faction in WWE, anchored with existing talent.
Here are five stars that could join a new Chris Jericho faction in WWE.
5. Dominik Mysterio
The WWE stars Chris Jericho could elect to align with upon his return would largely depend on whether he was planned to be a babyface or a heel.
However, if Jericho were to return and become a bad guy – or even a rebellious in-between character – he would be well suited to align with Dominik Mysterio.
Arguably one of the most popular WWE stars, Dirty Dom could be aging out of the iteration of his character where he is an underling to anyone in a faction.
But if he were to join a Chris Jericho-led faction as the lovable dirtbag, he could maintain his immature antics while also acting more dastardly overall.

4. Bron Breakker
Chris Jericho would seemingly want to work with the best, and one of the most promising young talents on the roster is Bron Breakker.
While Breakker may be affiliated with Seth Rollins’ faction now, it seems that there could end up being conflict between the young star and the Visionary.
Chris Jericho would make the ideal ally to break Breakker free in the event the storyline took a turn that saw Bron parting ways with Rollins.
Pairing him with a nostalgic babyface could be the perfect way to turn Breakker babyface and Jericho could certainly help.

3. Jey Uso
While Chris Jericho may assemble a more regular squad into a faction, he is likely to make alliances across all locker rooms.
More likely set for a one-off tag team than an actual member of a squad, Jey Uso has demonstrated he makes for a great tag team partner to any babyface as of late.
Accordingly, the return of Chris Jericho being combined with the fan favorite Uso could be not only fun, but probably sell some Yeet special edition merchandise to celebrate the pairing.
Similarly to other pairings in WWE that seem like superheroes uniting, Jey Uso & Chris Jericho would be a sight to behold.

2. Drew McIntyre
There could be a fun alliance between two masters of sass with the combination of Drew McIntyre and Chris Jericho.
Able to capture the spirit of being technically heels but still having widespread fan support, McIntyre and Jericho would be an enjoyable pair.
From an outwardly selfish motivation of combining their veteran status to gatekeep the roster from progressing up the card, all the way to simply being unafraid to say what is on their minds, the combination could be a powerful one.
Potentially tangling with the likes of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton immediately, a group anchored by McIntyre and Jericho plus younger talent could be industry shifting.

1. AJ Styles
Another veteran pairing that would be far more babyface leaning for nostalgic reasons could be to align AJ Styles with Chris Jericho.
Bringing together two of the biggest names from the last several decades of professional wrestling could serve to showcase a lot of younger talent to continue to make future stars.
Jericho and Styles together could be effective on-screen mentors to younger talent – Myles Borne, Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans, Ricky Saints to name a few choices – while also introducing a long simmering rivalry between the pair.
With both seemingly winding down in their active in-ring competition years, having one more big feud against one another could be a fun farewell for both.
