With several WWE stars bringing back past versions of their themes at NXT Homecoming, perhaps the changes could carry over to the main roster.
There are plenty of WWE stars on the main roster who fans have suggested switch up their entrance themes but some have already had iconic music they could simply revert back to.
Here are 7 WWE stars that should bring back their old entrance themes.
7. Finn Balor

One of the fun surprises this week was Finn Balor resurrecting his vintage theme for a special appearance on NXT.
Bringing back the vintage theme for his return to Full Sail at NXT Homecoming, Balor popped out as a surprise interruption for Lexis King.
Someone who could definitely benefit from bringing back the theme on the main roster, it does seem that since Finn Balor’s theme is pretty closely linked to his overall character and presentation – the switch up could have to wait.
In the event Balor becomes a babyface again, fans of his Catch Your Breath theme could be in for a pleasant surprise!

6. Bayley

Almost every WWE star would likely benefit from abandoning their current theme in favor of a popular hit licensed from the artist – however, perhaps none more than Bayley.
While Bayley seems to be going through a character shift at the moment – being overheard on WWE Raw on September 15 actively mediating an argument between her two past in-ring personas – the storyline could actually become iconic if it leads to the rising of an entirely new version of Bayley.
Since the multi-time former WWE Women’s Champion has been vocal in the past about her love for the band Paramore and her desire to have them create her next entrance theme.
On the other hand, the band’s lead singer Hayley Williams gave Bayley public permission to use her solo single ‘Simmer’ for her entrance theme at WrestleMania 40 – the song instead featured in the hype package before the match.

5. Sheamus

While Sheamus’ current theme is not the worst – it will be difficult for any theme to match up to the fan support that his third entrance theme in WWE has gotten over the years.
Sheamus’ classic Written In My Face theme has been resurrected a few times over the years, most recently in April 2024 when he made a return to action but you would be forgiven if you couldn’t hear it.
Since the WWE Raw crowd was thrilled with the return and had a thunderous reaction, the theme took backseat in the overall entrance – but fans of the theme and its hilariously misheard lyrics still persist.
Given the iconic ‘Lobsterhead’ and ‘Too Many Limes!’ memes that have sprung from the song over the years, perhaps Sheamus could bring it back permanently.

4. Shinsuke Nakamura

In a tale of the underrated themes, Shinsuke Nakamura has had some great entrance music over the years with different variations that sound similar but are decidedly unique.
His most recent entrance theme Sinister Samurai offers an homage to original theme, there will always be fans of the classic.
Making his mark initially in WWE with his theme The Rising Sun, perhaps a return to a babyface version of Nakamura could bring back the theme.
With Shinsuke Nakamura’s long term future with WWE unknown, it would be fun to see him make at least a few more appearances in front of WWE fans.

3. Logan Paul

While he just made his in-ring debut in WWE in 2022, Logan Paul has already used four entrance themes.
While his most recent theme Still Humble features Paul actually rapping on the track, it has some detractors.
Although it is one of the better current WWE themes, fitting his character and personality with lyrics that are clearly about the star – he could definitely remix an old entrance theme.
Bringing back his more recognizable Take Flight theme, Paul could definitely bring the two concepts together into a more interactive theme for the crowd to get riled up for the Maverick’s entrance.

2. #DIY

Another recent tease that occurred on NXT, #DIY made an appearance across two weeks of programming using their old theme.
Bringing delight to fans of Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano, #DIY returned to their original Its Our Moment theme during their time on The CW.
While the moment marked a fun surprise for fans, it could also harken of things to come.
With #DIY having recently been heels on the main roster, their warm reception at NXT continues to demonstrate that fans still love babyface Ciampa & Gargano too.

1. Bron Breakker

While he continues to appear as a member of Seth Rollins’ The Vision faction now – it does seem that Bron Breakker is on a trajectory to be a very big singles star.
Potentially departing the group to turn babyface in the future, he could definitely go back to his original 2021 NXT theme, The Call.
While it is still a Def Rebel song, the theme captured a more aggressive and gritty version of Breakker that should be incorporated into his current main roster character.
If absolutely necessary, WWE could always throw some dog barks into that original theme and basically blend the two concepts.
