TNA Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace shocked the wrestling world last week, making a shock appearance on WWE NXT.
Grace was announced as Roxanne Perez’s challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground, and it’s not set to be the only crossover between the companies.
WWE are reportedly set for more crossover with TNA in recent weeks, including potential roles at TNA’s Against All Odds and Slammiversary events.
With WWE’s true Forbidden Door now ajar, here are 8 WWE stars that could soon appear in TNA Wrestling.
8) Roxanne Perez

Lets get the obvious choice out of the way first, as it’s not hard to imagine NXT returning the favour once Roxanne retains against Grace at Battleground.
Roxanne Perez beating Jordynne Grace would effectively make her the number contender for the TNA Knockouts Championship, a scenario which would see Grace get her win back, retaining her own title against Perez on TNA soil.
Better yet, to really shake things up, have Grace actually defeat Perez at Battleground to become the NXT Women’s Champion, which would then see Roxanne appear in TNA to regain her title.
Roxanne is actually no stranger to TNA, having main evented against Deonna Purrazzo for the ROH Women’s and AAA Reina De Reinas Championships on the show prior to signing with WWE in 2022.

7) Cedric Alexander & Ashante Adonis

I know this is technically two wrestlers in one entry, but Ashante Adonis and Cedric Alexander had formed a tag team the last time we saw them, so they count.
Cedric has been someone who has struggled to find his feet on the main roster since the Hurt Business went their separate ways three years ago, and it’s amazing that he’s not yet had a run back in NXT.
When Grace appeared in NXT, Cedric immediately took aim at former opponent and current X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali, with the two willing a rematch into existence.
As for Ashante, the obvious story would be for he and Cedric to team up against Rich Swann and AJ Francis, Ashante’s former Hit Row tag team partner, or perhaps reunite with Francis in a cross promotional faction.
Even as a tag team, TNA has some great teams that Ashante and Cedric could face off with to prove their value to the company.

6) Bobby Roode

Bobby Roode’s in-ring future is a big question mark right now, but luckily this list is about appearing in TNA, not necessarily wrestling.
Roode has transitioned into a producer role in WWE, but his best in-ring years were spent as a TNA original, so him appearing on the show once again, even as a one off, would be great to see.
Roode is a great talker, so there are a plethora of ways he could be of value in an on-screen role in his home company, which could perhaps be used as a trial run for a potential television run back in WWE.
There are a lot of TNA alumni on the WWE roster right now, so any of them appearing in TNA would be awesome to see.

5) Wes Lee

Another WWE star with TNA connections is NXT’s Wes Lee, who recently made his return to the ring from a serious back injury.
Wes had teamed with former partner Zachary Wentz (Nash Carter in WWE) in NXT prior to Carter’s release, with Wentz now reunited with Trey Miguel and the Rascalz in TNA.
The connection between WWE and TNA seems primarily with NXT right now, so Wes appearing for one last Rascalz match or run back in TNA is actually a somewhat realistic probability right now.
If he leaves Battleground as North American Champion, perhaps he could even defend the title against some TNA names.

4) Naomi

The most recent TNA alumni on this list, Naomi was advertised as one of the faces of TNA ahead of it’s rebrand from IMPACT back to TNA earlier this year.
Naomi, under the name Trinity, was actually who Jordynne Grace defeated to become the Knockouts Champion back in January prior to Naomi’s return to WWE in the Royal Rumble.
Naomi has spoken fondly of her time in TNA, so if the offer were to come her way, she’d likely be open to returning for a few appearances, and would be welcomed with open arms.
She could even potentially be able to get her rematch against Jordynne Grace down the line.

3) Brooks Jensen

As I mentioned with Wes Lee, while it could be fun to see main roster names appear in TNA Wrestling, right now the crossover seems primarily NXT focused.
However, that falls right in line with Brooks Jensen, who has been making some news on social media recently due to cryptic posts, including him posting a link for potential outside bookings.
Jensen’s social media antics are reportedly part of an upcoming angle involving Jensen and Shawn Michaels, but having Jensen show up in TNA as a ‘free agent’ to play along with that story would be smart business.
Jensen could prove his worth on TNA for several weeks, before eventually returning to NXT with a chip on his shoulder.

2) Xavier Woods

Before there was Xavier Woods, there was Consequences Creed.
Woods has actually made several references to his TNA Wrestling persona in recent months, including referencing ‘the consequences’ in promos, and wearing the Apollo Creed inspired ring gear in Philadelphia.
When the TNA crossovers with WWE were announced, Woods listed two goals that he and Kofi Kingston have in TNA; the first being to win the TNA Tag Team Championship, and the second being to perform a song with Joe Hendry.
New Day x Joe Hendry sounds like the greatest thing to ever happen in wrestling, so Woods is this high on the list mainly due to me willing it into existence.

1) AJ Styles

Yeah, he was everyone’s first thought the second that potential WWE and TNA crossover was announced.
AJ Styles is, for lack of a better term, ‘Mr. TNA’, so any chance for him to appear, let alone have a match, back in his old stomping grounds should be high priority for TNA.
AJ actually did make a cameo video appearance at Slammiversary in 2022, celebrating 20 years of TNA, so this wouldn’t even be the first time he appeared on the show since signing with WWE.
There’s a lot of potential in a crossover between WWE and TNA, and hearing ‘Get Ready To Fly’ for one final time as AJ Styles steps into the ring at Slammiversary is perhaps the most exciting possibility of all.
