We are now only days away from the highly-anticipated WWE Money in the Bank 2026 premium live event in New Orleans, LA.
The event has more potential than any other to drastically shake up the landscape of WWE, but it’s not just the two ladder matches that could carry major implications for the remainder of 2026.
With championships on the line and grudges being settled elsewhere on the card, there is plenty of opportunity for some surprising twists and turns in New Orleans.
Here are two potential babyface turns we could see happen at WWE Money in the Bank 2026:
Paul Heyman
To say Paul Heyman’s alliance with The Vision has been strained lately would be an understatement, in fact it’s not been entirely clear whether “The Oracle” is actually still a member of the group as he’s not accompanied them to the ring at all since June.
Heyman appears to no longer be supremely confident that Bron Breakker is the future of WWE now that Oba Femi is around, and has warned both he and Bronson Reed about the threat that “The Ruler” poses whilst he’s still breathing.
The way Heyman has been acting makes it feel as if he may inevitably side with Femi over The Vision when the time is right; seeing the Nigerian as “The Next Big Thing” much like Brock Lesnar was back in 2002.
Will that allegiance form in New Orleans on October 10? If both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed walk out of Money in the Bank with nothing but losses to their name, Heyman may very well lose all faith in The Vision and instead side with Oba Femi.
Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez is heading into Money in the Bank as the odds on favorite to win the women’s briefcase, a win that very well may lead to the end of The Judgment Day as we know it.
While Liv Morgan would hope that her stablemate will target WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green if she wins the briefcase, we all know that is not how these things typically go in wrestling.
With the Women’s World Championship being contested in a three-way in New Orleans, Perez may have the chance to cash-in on the very same night she wins the briefcase depending on when both matches land on the card.
Much like Naomi did with her briefcase last year, Perez could join the match toward its conclusion and pin any of the three stars involved to win her first world title, or, she could wait until the match is over and steal away the winner’s moment.
No matter what route Perez takes, the win will almost certainly see her ousted from Judgment Day and turn babyface in the process.
