WWE Royal Rumble 2025 begins the road to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
The February 1 event from Indianapolis will feature the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, with star-studded lineups already confirmed for both.
With around half the field announced for both bouts, there are numerous talents still not set to appear in WWE’s premier gimmick match.
Here are seven SmackDown stars who could still potentially join the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble.
7. Chelsea Green

Following her popularity soaring in 2024, Chelsea Green has kickstarted the new year as the first ever WWE Women’s United States Champion.
Despite holding her own championship gold, Green is always trying to secure more of the spotlight for herself.
Going into the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble match, Chelsea could bring some comedy into the matchup and also set up new feuds in the process.
Green mixing it up with the likes of Jordynne Grace or Charlotte Flair could offer some intriguing possibilities following the Rumble.

6. Piper Niven

Piper Niven has served as the first line of defense for the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Campion Chelsea Green since capturing the title.
Niven has proven herself with every outing, which has led to more television time and opportunities for her than ever before as a result.
An entry into the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble match should be yet another chance for Niven to stand out.
While there are a few possibilities for her in the Rumble, Niven potentially eliminating her friend in Green could open the door for a showdown between the two for the U.S. Title down the road.

5. Michin

On the January 31 edition of SmackDown, Michin will challenge Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
This title opportunity should not stop Michin from bouncing back and entering the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble the very next night.
The former TNA Knockouts World Champion has made the most of nearly every opportunity given to her on SmackDown over the past year.
Michin should be a candidate to be the “Iron Woman” of the Royal Rumble, while interacting with a wide range of talented competitors along the way.

4. Andrade

In the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match, Andrade made his return to WWE after three years away from the promotion.
Over the past year, the former AEW star has more than proven himself as one of the most versatile in-ring performers in WWE today.
After competing for the United States Championship for the past few months, Andrade will not let the chance to headline WrestleMania 41 slip through his fingers in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Andrade is another potential “Iron Man” candidate who could put on some awe inspiring exchanges with the likes of Penta, Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins.

3. Damian Priest

On the January 24 edition of SmackDown, Damian Priest was announced as the latest star to move to the brand in the “transfer window.”
The former World Heavyweight Champion has a whole new roster of competitors to mix it up with and could kickstart in the men’s Royal Rumble.
Priest joining a field that includes John Cena, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk could be just what she needs for this new chapter of his career.
Whether it be facing off with his former Judgment Day stablemates or starting a new rivalry for the road to WrestleMania 41, Priest’s entry in the 2025 men’s Rumble seems inevitable and should lead to a litany of possibilities.

2. Jacob Fatu

At the January 25 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jacob Fatu had one of the breakout moments of his WWE run so far.
“The Samoan Werewolf” completely destroyed Braun Strowman in a bloody beatdown that left a huge impression on the WWE fans.
Since Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa to win the Tribal Combat on the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere, Fatu has developed his own voice and firmly established himself as a future top star.
With an entry in the men’s Royal Rumble, Fatu should be looked as a potential dark horse, and should set the stage for some mouth watering showdowns with the likes of Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker.

1. Solo Sikoa

On the January 6 Netflix premiere of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa to win the Tribal Combat and retrieve the ula fala as “The Tribal Chief.”
Since then, Sikoa has been conspicuously absent from WWE TV or has not spoken a word in regards to his future in the Bloodline.
Solo returning in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match could set up some new stories with the variety of talent on Raw and SmackDown.
From squaring off with his former Bloodline stablemates or battling new talent like Penta and Oba Femi, Sikoa could give fans a glimpse into his future plans in the men’s Rumble.
