Since taking on the role in 2023, Ava has established herself as the WWE NXT General Manager and has been responsible for various major announcements for the brand.
Considering she is 23 years old and the daughter of The Rock, it would not be surprising for Ava to one day have a more prominent role on the WWE main roster.
When Ava steps down from this role, there are a litany of options to fill her spot as the new NXT General Manager moving forward.
Here are eight potential WWE replacements for Ava.
8. Shawn Michaels
The most obvious option to replace Ava as NXT GM has to be her current boss, Shawn Michaels.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been in charge of the NXT brand over the past four years and has already been through different eras of the show.
Bringing his leadership to the on-screen product might be a step too far for some, but it would definitely bring a great deal of star power into the product.
HBK returning to WWE TV as the NXT General Manager would be a significant change that might help those who work directly with the multi-time WWE World Champion.

7. Paige
Looking at the current free agent market, there isn’t another star who looks poised to join WWE right now more than Saraya.
After leaving All Elite Wrestling in March, Saraya, formerly known as Paige, has been very open about returning to WWE.
The former WWE Divas Champion previously played the General Manager role over on SmackDown and did well in the position.
Paige returning to become NXT GM would feel like a full circle moment after making a name for herself as one of the pioneers of the Women’s Revolution and the first ever NXT Women’s Champion.

6. Robert Stone
Since Ava became NXT GM, she has surrounded herself by two assistants that have helped her take charge of the brand.
The first of which was Robert Stone who has gone on to fill other roles across WWE and outside of the promotion.
Now serving as color commentator on WWE Evolve, Stone could be in line for a bigger promotion when Ava steps down from the NXT GM position.
After his brief tease working as the Director of Authority over in TNA Wrestling, Stone could finally become a General Manager when the time is right in NXT.

5. Stevie Turner
The other half of the NXT GM assistants is Stevie Turner who started on the brand as a wrestler before moving on to a non-wrestling role.
Using her experience as an assistant, Turner recently became the Prime Minister on the WWE Evolve revival brand.
Introducing championship gold and setting up key matches, Stevie has shown growth as an authority role and helped to show why she might be a good choice to take a similar role over on NXT.
Turner eventually being the one who Ava passes the torch to might be appropriate based on their history together on WWE NXT.

4. Santino Marella
Over in TNA Wrestling, Santino Marella has transitioned from a pro wrestler to Director of Authority for the company.
Debuting in the role in 2023, Marella has come a long way over the past two years and has even made a return to WWE in the role.
Following this Director of Authority role, Marella could make a permanent return to WWE where he could once again fill a similar position in NXT.
Santino replacing Ava could bring a once beloved character and some nostalgia to NXT TV that could create some intriguing interactions with the current crop of talent on the brand.

3. Arianna Grace
If Santino Marella is not gonna take on the role of NXT GM, then his daughter would be just as great of an option or possibly even better.
Arianna Grace has played the role of liaison between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling over the past few months since the multi-year partnership was announced in January.
While Grace has returned to in-ring action recently, she may have found a bright future for herself as an authority figure through this recent position.
With her undeniable charisma and exceptional microphone skills, Arianna feels like someone who would excel as NXT GM if Ava were to step down.

2. Robert Roode
Going back to a former champion of the past for an authority figure is something WWE has done a lot in the past with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley having the GM position.
The company could do that once again with current WWE producer and former NXT Champion Robert Roode.
Since quietly ending his in-ring career in 2022, Roode has moved on to become a backstage producer and other behind-the-scenes roles.
Bringing his natural charismatic character back into the fold, Roode feels like an ideal replacement for Ava who has credibility and could play an entertaining heel General Manager for the NXT brand.

1. William Regal
Speaking of great General Managers, there might not be any who was as well versed in playing this role more than William Regal.
Dating back to the early 2000s, Regal became a Commissioner during his in-ring days and showcased himself to be excellent in the role.
Becoming GM for both Monday Night Raw and WWE NXT in the past, he might go down as one of the best authority figures in the company’s history.
While he has had limited appearances on WWE TV since his return to the company in 2023, Regal is someone who could easily fill this role once again and once again shine as an on-screen character.
