WWE Raw Stars To Switch Brands

WWE Raw Stars To Switch Brands

With the WWE Draft reportedly approaching soon, some established stars on the Raw roster are likely to be shifted around to make way for fresh faces.

Whether it is for a long overdue change of scenery, or perhaps direct storyline purposes on other shows – there are many possible big moves on the table.

Here are eight WWE stars that could switch brands in the upcoming WWE Draft 2025.

8. AJ Styles

AJ Styles may have only recently moved to WWE Raw following his return from injury in January, but his time in WWE is certainly more synonymous with being on the blue brand.

Depending on his future creative plans, there may be more interesting rivalries for AJ Styles on SmackDown, both new and old.

Or in a slightly out there suggestion – perhaps Styles could head to NXT as he did in 2022 for what ended up being a fun feud with Grayson Waller, only this time for a prolonged run on the brand.

The prospect of AJ Styles taking on some of WWE’s top future talent like Je’Von Evans, Ricky Saints, Oba Femi or Myles Borne is very intriguing, and given how close to the end of his career he likely is it’d make for some truly fresh feeling matches.

7. Dominik Mysterio

‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio has been riding high since his Intercontinental Championship win at WrestleMania 41, with fans rallying behind the him in a major way.

When he actually ran back to the ring to soak in even more of the crowd’s uncharacteristic adoration, it left some wondering if a babyface turn for Dominik was in the near future.

While there continues to be obvious tension within the Judgment Day, Dom and Finn Balor’s rivalry has yet to explode… Yet.

One solution to Finn and Dom’s brewing tension would be to not have the current Judgment Day survive the WWE Draft 2025 –  sending Mysterio to SmackDown and keeping Balor on Raw. Balor could subsequently be transferred to SmackDown via the WWE Transfer Window to delay their inevitable major match until sometime down the road.

6. Kairi Sane

Kairi Sane was last seen in action with IYO SKY as a member of Damage CTRL in December 2024 in a match against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan.

After picking up a thumb injury in the match and rehabbing, Sane will be making her in-ring return in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on the May 19 episode of WWE Raw.

That doesn’t mean she won’t be drafted to SmackDown soon however, especially with Damage CTRL’s future seeming bleak.

With the reported WWE Draft 2025 coming at the end of May, maybe Kairi Sane is SmackDown bound to join real-life pal and new blue brand signee, Giulia.

5. Bron Breakker

Adding an evil mastermind element to Seth Rollins’ character – sending Breakker to dominate SmackDown on behalf of the faction would be an interesting twist.

Of course, Breakker would also still appear alongside Rollins on Raw but rather only serving as his henchman or attack dog as the case may be.

Potentially spreading the threat to Roman Reigns across WWE between Breakker and Rollins, the faction could really take over with appearances on both brands.

Bron Breakker assuredly has big future plans in WWE – but a subplot of being overworked and undervalued by Rollins on the road to his eventual redemption could offer an opportunity for fans to become emotionally invested in Breakker as the next big WWE star.

4. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Since Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, the brand they are drafted to is a slightly obsolete.

However, in the event the duo are to lose the titles, both would be interesting additions to the SmackDown women’s roster on a full-time basis, especially if Dominik Mysterio was to make the move alongside them.

Both would be able to have iconic feuds with the likes of Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair among other big name options both as a tag team or as singles stars once again.

The Judgment Day seems likely to undergo big changes soon and the WWE Draft could be the catalyst.

3. Asuka

WWE star Asuka

With Asuka reportedly nearing a return it would be a great time for her to switch things up.

While she was last seen with Kairi Sane as part of Damage CTRL, it remains to be seen the direction of the faction.

With Dakota Kai having been released from the company and IYO SKY currently the WWE Women’s World Champion – perhaps Asuka and/or Sane will head over to SmackDown to forge their own path.

After overcoming an injury that required such long and hard work in rehab – hopefully Asuka is able to showcase her skills in a major way.

2. Ludwig Kaiser

The rationale for sending Kaiser to SmackDown is two-fold – giving him an opportunity to shine on a brand entirely separately from GUNTHER but also to sync him to Tiffy Time.

Featured heavily on the E! reality series Total Divas back in the day, the WWE Draft creates a layer of real-life tension between couples in WWE. That being said – since their relationship was publicly brought into a WrestleMania feud – Kaiser and Tiffany Stratton should be on the same brand.

Also from a character perspective, Ludwig Kaiser holds tremendous potential as a singles star – but also should probably not have a dramatic falling out with GUNTHER.

Leaving the door open for their Imperium tag team to reunite in the future, if Kaiser were simply drafted to SmackDown – their potential rivalry could be re-visited in the future.

1. Logan Paul

It has yet to really be explored if Shawn Michaels can draft main roster stars to NXT during the WWE Draft – but if so, he should snatch up Logan Paul.

In a move that would explain a longer period of absence (if necessary), Logan Paul’s presence and cultural reference point is entirely different to the NXT demographic from the main roster’s.

Consistently touting highs in viewership amongst a younger demographic of viewer, Paul may be able to captivate even more people to tune into the developmental brand.

Also given the nature of NXT, he could easily pop in and out – but he could contribute to a star making program with the likes of Ricky Saints or to tease a babyface turn for ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page.
