8 Changes To WWE Raw Roster

As WWE heads towards SummerSlam, it’s second biggest event of the year, the landscape of the WWE Raw roster could be set for a shakeup.

From returns, betrayals and roster trades, the WWE Raw we are familiar with right now may not be the Raw we will be seeing from SummerSlam and beyond.

Here are 8 potential changes coming to the WWE Raw roster.

8) Raquel Rodriguez Returning To WWE Raw

Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez has been out of action since February, but she could be on her way back soon.

There has reportedly been internal talks of Raquel making her return to the company soon, with it potentially taking place ‘in the near future’.

Rodriguez has been battling Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which resulted in an initial absence from December 2023 to February 2024.

Raquel has a lot of history with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, so she could end up being featured in that mix soon.

7) Ivy Nile Joining Chad Gable & Creed Brothers

The new ‘Team Gable’ has now officially formed on WWE television, with the Creed Brothers jumping Bo Dallas to aid Chad Gable in his war with the Wyatt Sicks.

Gable’s storyline with the Alpha Academy has been one of the hottest stories in the company over the past few weeks, and Ivy Nile has played a role in that.

Ivy has been aligned with the Creed Brothers over the years, as well as teaming with Maxxine Dupri, who is on the other side of the war right now.

Ivy will likely end up betraying Maxxine and joining up with the Creeds and Gable soon.

6) Damage CTRL Returning As Babyfaces

This is something that could take place as soon as the July 29 episode of WWE Raw following weeks of build.

Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark made their official debut as a trio on Raw recently, laying waste to Damage CTRL, who haven’t appeared on the show since.

IYO and Kairi had returned to Japan, while Dakota returned to New Zealand, before they all returned for the WWE Japan tour this past weekend.

With the tour now over, the three returning to take on Sonya, Zoey and Shayna as a babyface unit seems the next move.

5) Jey Uso Leaving WWE Raw

Jey Uso is one of the top stars on the WWE Raw roster, as well as arguably the single most popular, but he’s really not done much recently.

The reason for that is pretty obvious, Jey can’t become too pre-occupied on Raw right now given the nature of the impending ‘Bloodline Civil War’.

Jey’s time on Raw will likely be coming to an end, as he will need to be on SmackDown to be a part of the latest arc of the Bloodline storyline on SmackDown.

As far as who moves over to Raw in his place?

4) AJ Styles Moving To WWE Raw?

AJ Styles has not appeared on WWE television since Clash at the Castle, where he lost an Undisputed WWE Championship I Quit match to Cody Rhodes.

AJ recently represented WWE in Japan, competing in Pro Wrestling NOAH against Naomichi Marufuji, though he is still yet to return to television.

With Jey Uso likely needing to leave WWE Raw soon, AJ Styles would make a lot of sense as the person to send over in his place.

AJ being added to Raw and mixing it up with the top stars of the red brand would be a nice change of pace.

3) The New Day Breaking Up

The story between Karrion Kross and Xavier Woods has been going on for many weeks now, almost too long.

Woods has come up short in every attempt to take down Kross in recent weeks, to the point where the storyline feels like it is going on for far too long to just simply end with Woods overcoming him.

I hate to even consider the thought of a New Day break up.

However, at this point, it seems like it could be happening.

2) Natalya Making WWE Return

Former Women’s Champion Natalya has not been present backstage at recent WWE Raw television tapings, but she could be making her return soon.

Natalya’s future with WWE was left in uncertainty as her contract expiration drew near, with it being reported that it was a ‘very real possibility’ that she could have left the company.

However, that is not the case, and WWE and Natalya have agreed terms on a new deal that will see her stick around for a few more years.

While Nattie may be busy with other projects, we can expect her back on WWE programming sooner rather than later.

1) WWE’s Judgment Day Breaking Up

The Judgment Day have been the leading stable on WWE Raw over the past year or so, but their days may be coming to an end.

With Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley now seemingly leaning into babyface roles, while Finn Balor and JD McDonagh remain as heels, as well as the inclusion of Liv Morgan, the cracks that have been showing in the group for around a year now are starting to widen rapidly.

Just as the Bloodline is seemingly set for a civil war, the Judgment Day may be set for one too sooner than we think.
