On the March 17 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, Jey Uso defeated Austin Theory in less than 30 seconds. Post-match, Jey not only got the better of A-Town Down Under, but also his WrestleMania 41 opponent GUNTHER.

After being beaten again by Uso, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory issued a challenge to Uso and a tag team partner of his choosing for the March 24 WWE Raw.

With the show taking place from Glasgow, Scotland, this has caused a lot of discussion and debate on who Jey’s partner should be for the show.

Here are six potential Jey Uso tag team partners for WWE Raw.

6. GUNTHER

WWE has often used the trope of “can they coexist” when it comes to rivals throughout the years.

Ahead of WrestleMania 41, GUNTHER has been trying to make Jey Uso’s life a living hell to make him regret choosing him and the World Heavyweight Championship after winning the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble  match.

To cause a little drama in their current storyline, WWE might have a more popular choice to be Jey’s partner get beaten down by “The Ring General” only for him to come out in their place to team with Uso.

GUNTHER could use being his Mania opponent’s tag team partner as a way to show him first-hand just how much better he is than Uso ahead of their showdown in Las Vegas.

5. Otis

Over the past few weeks, Jey Uso has been bonding with Alpha Academy’s Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri in their battles with his WrestleMania 41 opponent, GUNTHER.

While Uso has had the back of Alpha Academy, the team has made sure to let Jey know that they will have his back as well.

With Jey needing some backup against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on the March 24 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, it only makes sense for one of Alpha Academy to step up to help Uso.

Otis seems like the most logical choice from the group to have Jey’s back against A-Town Down Under and could give him a hot crowd to show off his skills on WWE Raw.

4. Sheamus

During the lead-up to WWE WrestleMania 41, one of the most notable stars who have been absent from the company’s programming is Sheamus.

“The Celtic Warrior” has not been seen on WWE TV since losing to Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship on the January 25 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and competing in the men’s Royal Rumble match.

Sheamus returning to team with Jey Uso to face A-Town Down Under could set up a compelling TV build for the remaining time ahead of Mania.

Considering Jey has been wanting to prove some doubters wrong especially with his match with GUNTHER looming, Sheamus could be the perfect opponent for Uso to defeat on the road to WrestleMania 41 with just four weeks until the event.

3. Sami Zayn

Jey Uso should look to those he trusts the most as he tries to make his way to the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania 41.

Another notable star who has not appeared on WWE television in the past few weeks has been Sami Zayn.

After suffering a loss to Kevin Owens in an Unsanctioned Match at Elimination Chamber 2025, Zayn has been absent from the company’s programming, but he could make his way back to help out his friend.

Sami having Jey’s back makes a lot of sense based on their history and could be the perfect comeback to television for Zayn to put him in position for a spot on the Mania card himself.

2. Jimmy Uso

Ahead of WWE Survivor Series 2024, Jimmy and Jey Uso reunited after over a year since the twin brothers went their separate ways.

Despite teaming with each other as part of the OG Bloodline in the men’s WarGames last year, The Usos have not competed in a two-on-two tag team match since Money In The Bank 2023.

After nearly two years since their last standard tag team bout, it feels like the time is right to have the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions reunite on Raw.

With Jimmy’s path to WrestleMania 41 uncertain at the moment, this could introduce him to the Jey Uso vs. GUNTHER rivalry proper and set up a possible TV match with “The Ring General” before he faces Jey at Mania.

1. Joe Hendry

Upon the challenge to Jey Uso from A-Town Down Under, many fans immediately believed there was one person to be his mystery tag team partner in Scotland and that is Joe Hendry.

The current TNA World Champion has been among the most popular stars in all of wrestling with many fans excited to see him in front of a big time crowd in his home country.

Following his main roster debut in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match, this feels like an ideal place for Hendry to make another appearance on WWE programming.

The pop for Hendry in Scotland would be thunderous and should deliver one of the most memorable moments of the entire road to WrestleMania 41, which makes this choice for Jey Uso’s tag team partner the one that would please the fans in attendance the most.
