While Pat McAfee has been confirmed for a return at Wrestlepalooza, he is still on hiatus from WWE Raw commentary.
Although Corey Graves has been doing the job back on Raw alongside Michael Cole, there are some other interesting choices as to who could sit at the announce booth on Netflix.
Here are eight potential additions to the WWE Raw announce team.
8. Chris Jericho

While rumors persist that Chris Jericho could be returning to WWE when his current AEW contract expires, the assumption has been that he will continue an in-ring career.
However, with noted experience on commentary in AEW, Jericho could be a great fit for WWE Raw on Netflix.
Able to rejoin the world of WWE before actually lacing up his boots, Jericho could prolong the excitement of possibly looking to have his own farewell tour in WWE similar to John Cena.
With reports noting that Jericho is contracted with AEW until late 2025, we’ll have to wait to see what 2026 could hold in store for him in WWE.

7. Joe Tessitore

Joe Tessitore joined WWE by way of a tenured sports broadcasting career.
Already having made contributions on SmackDown, he could be poised to bring his skills to WWE Raw.
Noted for his previous broadcasting experience on ESPN covering professional sports, Tessitore also brings a dedication to being both informative and entertaining.
Potentially able to join WWE Raw to serve as a second in command to Michael Cole, Tessitore could continue to establish his voice with the WWE audience.

6. Kevin Owens

While Kevin Owens remains out of action due to injury, if he were to return to WWE in a commentary role, WWE Raw with Michael Cole would be the place.
Having a notable and hilarious chemistry with Cole already, Kevin Owens could bring his signature quick wit and sass to the commentary team.
Conversely to Pat McAfee who can stand-in as the voice of the ‘casual fan’ on commentary, Kevin Owens would be the voice of the highly knowledgeable sect of the audience.
Linking events occurring in the ring to professional wrestling history could prove to be a remarkable addition to the commentary table.

5. Wade Barrett

After having already made a big impact on the SmackDown – helming the desk with Joe Tessitore on the blue brand – Wade Barrett continues as a fan favorite.
This year, Barrett was on the call for WWE SummerSlam with Michael Cole and got rave reviews.
Adding the depth of personal experience to big event moments, Barrett brings a unique perspective to the team.
Potentially able to be the back-up to Pat McAfee, Barrett’s chemistry with Cole makes him a perfect fit.

4. Titus O’Neil

A delight when he has appeared on commentary before, one potential addition to the table could be Titus O’Neil.
While Titus hasn’t seen WWE in-ring action in quite some time, he hasn’t been away from TV entirely.
O’Neil currently stars on a reality dating series on Bravo called King’s Court featuring well-known men from the entertainment industry looking for love.
Continuing to prove himself as a dynamic character in front of the camera both inside and outside of WWE, O’Neil has brought energy and fun to the commentary role in the past, including on WWE’s biggest stage, WrestleMania.

3. Paul Wight

Although he does not seem to be available to start in the immediate future, one potential major addition to the WWE Raw commentary team could be veteran Paul Wight, also known as The Big Show.
Wight confirmed back in May 2025 that he was still under contract with AEW and was happy to be a part of the company despite not being booked to appear on TV.
While he reportedly signed to “long term” deal back in 2021, Wight commented in 2023 that there were still “a couple of years” left on the contract potentially delaying any WWE return.
Able to provide a unique spin on commentary as heard on AEW Dark Elevation, Paul Wight joining the main roster team could be worth the wait.

2. Vic Joseph

Having demonstrated his capacity over time in NXT, Vic Joseph could be a great addition to WWE Raw.
Particularly if his appearance was timed to coincide to new arrivals from NXT on the main roster, Joseph could be of great service in helping to integrate the new stars.
Able to reference their storylines and accolades in NXT with expert level knowledge, Joseph’s presence could end up being vital to keeping continuity.
Leaving the door open for him to return to NXT, having Joseph pop up on WWE Raw would absolutely make sense.

1. Big E

Big E remains a beloved WWE fan favorite even after the apparent end of his in-ring career.
After having already showcased his charm and wit on the WWE premium live event pre-shows and post-shows, Big E could do even more on-screen.
Big E brings real world in-ring experience to the commentary team in a way that feels authentic as well as adding depth.
Always a delight when he is on WWE TV – the more Big E in WWE, the better!
