WWE Raw has started a brand new era following its premiere on the Netflix streaming service.
While the company’s start on Netflix has seen several feuds reaching their conclusion, there will be some overarching changes being implemented to the show.
From format and presentation to stars arriving and returning, Raw will have an air of unpredictability as the promotion gets closer to this year’s WrestleMania.
Here are eight potential changes to WWE Raw.
8. Two And A Half Hour Shows
The January 13 edition of WWE Raw displayed the company’s ability to show flexibility on the timing of the program now that it is on Netflix.
The show concluded after two and a half hours of content. Reports then circulated that WWE feels that duration is the “sweet spot” for the program.
Moving forward, fans should get used to seeing Raw at that length, which will allow WWE to feature most of their roster with less risk of overexposure.
Two and a half hour Raws will soon be the norm and will experience its ups-and-downs as the company makes this transition.

7. Logan Paul Becomes A Featured Act
Ahead of the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere, GM Adam Pearce announced that former United States Champion Logan Paul had signed a contract with the brand.
Paul has proven himself to be a compelling television character and a surprisingly exceptional in-ring performer as well since signing with WWE.
The former United States Champion gives Raw a much needed top heel who could deliver some entertaining feuds with the top babyfaces on the brand.
From CM Punk to Jey Uso, there is a lot of potential to explore with Logan on Monday nights as he plays a featured role moving forward.

6. NXT Talent Get Called Up
With 2025 underway, WWE NXT has begun with arguably the company’s strongest and most stacked brand when it comes to excitement and potential.
After signing new talent and bringing in some NIL recruits, there are several stars who are ready to be called up to the main roster, specifically on Raw.
Roxanne Perez is the most ready made prospect for the main roster, while two-time NXT Champion Trick Williams is one of the most popular stars in the entire promotion and could be on Raw tomorrow without issue.
From champions like Tony D’Angelo and Fallon Henley to top talent like Ethan Page and Wes Lee, there are plenty of stars for WWE to call upon from NXT that could play a role on the red brand immediately.

5. Penta Rises The Ranks
On the January 13 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, former AEW star Penta made his long awaited debut in the company by defeating Chad Gable.
After the successful debut on WWE’s flagship show, the sky seems to be the limit for the luchador and could see him climb the ladder a lot faster than many believed initially.
Penta becoming a force to be reckoned should be one of the main stories on Raw over the next few weeks and see him competing against a wide variety of talent on the roster.
Whether it be against top stars like GUNTHER and Seth Rollins or against another luchador like Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio, Penta has so many thrilling possibilities to explore now he has arrived on Raw.

4. John Cena’s Quest For Number 17
On the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere, John Cena made his return to kick off his retirement tour in 2025.
Discussing his recent lack of success and declaring for the men’s Royal Rumble match, Cena delivered a stirring promo that gave fans a glimpse into his road to WrestleMania 41.
After being a WWE star for 22 years, Cena has one more thing he has left to accomplish with wanting to win a record-breaking 17th world championship.
Cena will be one of the top storylines on Monday Night Raw throughout the next 12 months and should deliver some of the most memorable moments of 2025.

3. Becky Lynch Returns To Regain Gold
Since Raw debuted on Netflix, fans have been waiting to see one star make their return to the company and that is Becky Lynch.
After losing the WWE Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan in May 2024, Lynch has been absent from the company’s programming and should be one of the more significant returns for the promotion.
Becky remains one of the biggest stars and draws in WWE, but her climb back to the top should be a journey and she should find some adversity upon her return to Monday Night Raw.
Lynch eventually challenging Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship or battling her protege Lyra Valkyria for the newly introduced Women’s Intercontinental Championship should be a focal point for the Raw women’s division.

2. Paul Heyman In The Middle Of Roman Reigns & CM Punk On The Same Brand
Ever since the two men aligned for the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, fans have been speculating about when they could possibly see a showdown between Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
With the favor that Paul Heyman promised Punk for his participation in WarGames, it remains to be seen how this might affect Reigns in the future.
In a callback to both men’s rivalries with Brock Lesnar in 2013 and 2021 respectively, this simmering rivalry could put Heyman right in the middle of his two megastar clients.
Reigns and Punk should be on a collision course that has all the star power necessary to headline WrestleMania 41 and the biggest question will be where do Heyman’s loyalties lie?

1. Seth Rollins Turns Heel
Seth Rollins has found himself on a slow descent to madness since his issues with CM Punk reemerged.
After denying the OG Bloodline ahead of the men’s WarGames, it was Punk who answered the call and caused Rollins to go after his long time rival.
However, the loss Seth suffered to Punk on the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere has caused him to further be consumed with vengeance and should lead to his official heel turn sometime this year.
With his former Shield brethren Roman Reigns potentially coming to the red brand, Rollins should embrace the dark side to fully get his revenge on all his enemies.
