The October 27 edition of Monday Night Raw will mark the go-home show ahead of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
With just mere days ahead of the November 1 show, there could be some significant changes to the roster and the brand ahead of the company heading to Salt Lake City.
From big time matches being set up to storyline developments, these adjustments should lead to massive ramifications heading into WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and moving forward following the show.
Here are seven potential changes to WWE Raw before Saturday Night’s Main Event.
7. Santos Escobar Returns
Santos Escobar had his name in the headlines when his WWE contract expired on October 7. However, the Legado Del Fantasma leader re-signed with the company just one day later.
Then, news circulated that Escobar is reportedly scheduled to be at the October 27 WWE Raw TV tapings in Anaheim, California.
This has led to some fans making a connection to some cryptic videos shared by WWE of individuals walking to a possible tease for Escobar’s return to the promotion.
Santos Escobar returning and moving to WWE Raw could open the door for him to be propelled to the main event picture and feud with some of the top stars on the roster, such as Jey Uso, CM Punk or Roman Reigns.

6. Tag team Match – Stephanie Vaquer Teaming With Nikki Bella Against The Judgment Day
On the October 20 edition of WWE Raw, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Roxanne Perez. Post match, Perez & Raquel Rodriguez jumped Vaquer until Nikki Bella made her return to make the save.
Backstage, Bella and Vaquer met and stated that they would have each other’s back against The Judgment Day members.
With Bella set to face Perez in singles competition on the October 27 episode of Raw, the fallout from this bout could set up a high profile tag team match.
Bella teaming with Vaquer could see the popular babyface duo trying to take down Perez and Rodriguez at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event just five days after this week’s Raw.

5. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria Dethrone Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
One of the biggest matches announced for this Monday’s Raw will see Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair return to the red brand to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Over the past few weeks, fans have watched Bayley and Lyra come together as a tandem that know how to bring out the best of each other.
Meanwhile, Bliss and Flair have held their championship since August and have not backed down from any challenges.
With both Charlotte and Alexa’s history with ‘The Role Model,’ this tag team bout could be very intriguing and see the unlikely pairing of Lyra and Bayley become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on October 27.

4. New Challengers Emerge For AJ Styles & Dragon Lee As World Tag Team Champions
After forming their tag team in the past month or so, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee surprised many fans when they defeated The Judgment Day to win the World Tag Team Championship on the October 20 edition of WWE Raw.
While Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are surely gonna want a rematch, there could be new challengers emerging on the October 27 episode.
The War Raiders, Creed Brothers and The New Day could all step up to the plate now that new champions have been crowned.
Considering the tag teams who have not been featured on TV much lately like Los Americanos and The LWO, the Raw tag team division could be revitalized now that Styles and Lee are champions.

3. Triple Threat Announced – Dominik Mysterio vs. Rusev vs. Penta For The WWE Intercontinental Championship
Over the past month, Dominik Mysterio has done everything in his power to figure out any possible way to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Mysterio has defeated both Rusev and Penta in singles competition, but it seems like all three men are on a collision course.
After Penta caused a distraction during the Mysterio vs. Rusev IC Title match on the October 20 episode of WWE Raw, it would make a ton of sense for the company to announce a three-way showdown.
‘Dirty Dom’ defending the title against Rusev and Penta could be a necessary addition to the lineup for the November 1 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event from Salt Lake City, Utah.

2. Maxxine Dupri Earns Another Opportunity At The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Following her countout win against the champion, Maxxine Dupri once again defeated Becky Lynch this time by disqualification during their WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match on the October 20 edition of Raw.
After this win, Lynch laid out Dupri with a Manhandle Slam. However, it seems like the rivalry will continue from here.
Dupri now owns two victories over the champion and should be in line for one more title opportunity against ‘The Man.’
WWE announcing Lynch will defend the Women’s IC Title against Dupri on Saturday Night’s Main Event would be another intriguing title clash to add to the card for the November 1 Peacock special.

1. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed & Paul Heyman Reveal Their Vision For CM Punk vs. Jey Uso World Heavyweight Title Match At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
To the surprise of some fans, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were removed from the World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Battle Royal by WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce on the October 20 episode.
With no members of The Vision involved, Jey Uso went on to win the bout and will go on to face CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at the November 1 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Now that The Vision seems on the outside looking in, it should be very interesting to see how Breakker, Reed and Paul Heyman will figure into the Punk vs. Uso title match.
Considering Punk and Uso are set to go face-to-face on the October 27 edition of WWE Raw, The Vision should give a glimpse or tease as to how they will be involved in this World Heavyweight Championship bout at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
