6 Changes To WWE Raw Ahead Of WrestleMania 41

The penultimate WWE Raw before WrestleMania 41 takes place on April 7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

With some impromptu situations arising, the road to Mania looks very different compared how it looked just a few days ago.

Here are six changes that could be coming to Raw ahead of WrestleMania.

6. Ludwig Kaiser Addresses Tiffany Stratton & Charlotte Flair Situation

WWE stars Charlotte Flair, Ludwig Kaiser and Tiffany Stratton

On WWE SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair reportedly both made unscripted remarks about each other’s personal lives, which included Flair bringing up Sratton’s real-life boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser, claiming Kaiser had been in Flair’s DMs.

Now, if we can all just agree to get along in favor of having an interesting match instead of what was looking like a largely uninteresting one, it might be a decent idea to actually get Kaiser involved in this story.

He’s not got anything else going on heading into WrestleMania, and his name’s been brought up – why wouldn’t he have something to say in response on Raw?

Again, assuming everyone can get on the same page even if they’re not necessarily the best of friends, there’s potential for Stratton and Flair to be one of the most heated matches at Mania, instead of what it was going to be, which was one of the least.

5. World Tag Team Title Change

WWE War Raiders and New Day tag teams

While some thought this match was potentially being set up for WrestleMania itself, the War Raiders defending the World Tag Team Championship against New Day has been announced for WWE Raw.

Considering how hot New Day were when they turned heel at the end of 2024, it would be a real shame – and a really bad reflection on the booking – if they weren’t even featured at Mania this year.

One way to get them on the card would be if there’s a title change here and they win the World Tag Team Championship, then defend it at Mania.

Whether it’s just to set up a straight rematch with the War Raiders or a defense against someone else, New Day deserve to make it to WrestleMania this year and a title change would seemingly open the door for that.

4. WrestleMania Intercontinental Championship Match Announced

The picture seems to have become clear regarding the Intercontinental Championship and WrestleMania.

With Bron Breakker as champion, he’s been at odds with Penta, and Judgment Day members Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio are both looking for a title shot too.

All signs are pointing to a four-way Mania title match, and all that’s left to do is for it to be made official.

With tonight marking the penultimate WWE Raw before Mania, tonight will likely be the night.

3. Women’s Intercontinental Title Match Chaos

Announced for WWE Raw is Lyra Valkyria defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley.

However, a few nights later on SmackDown, they’ll be teaming up in a tag team gauntlet match to earn a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at WrestleMania – and Valkyria and Bayley are in fact the favorites to win that gauntlet match.

As such, their match for Valkyria’s title might end in some kind of chaos – whether it’s caused by Morgan and Rodriguez to add some heat to their potential Mania match, or just by the other teams in the gauntlet – to result in the match not having a clear winner.

It would mean neither of them would have to take a loss heading into Mania, which seems like a logical idea.

2. Karrion Kross Challenges Randy Orton For WrestleMania 41

Due to Kevin Owens’ unfortunate injury issues, Randy Orton is now without an opponent for WrestleMania 41.

While there’s a chance the RKO on Nick Aldis was hinting at Orton vs Aldis, that’s far from definite, and some would even say unlikely.

One potential new opponent for Orton is Karrion Kross, who currently doesn’t have anything planned for Mania, and is someone Orton has expressed interest in working with in the past.

Kross is set for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport on the Thursday before Mania, but there’s no reason he couldn’t do both.

1. Rhea Ripley Added To Women’s World Championship Match

WWE Raw tonight will finally see Adam Pearce settle the situtation with the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania.

Officially the match is still currently IYO SKY vs Bianca Belair, but it’s been clear for weeks and weeks that Rhea Ripley will be added to make it a three-way.

That announcement should be coming on Raw tonight.
