After multiple title changes across both nights of WWE WrestleMania 41, the landscape of champions in the company has already changed.
But with a new set of champions will come a new set of challengers, anxious to make their mark and claim their own place in history.
Here are our predictions for the next holder of every championship in WWE.
Undisputed WWE Championship – Randy Orton

There are only two men who have more world title wins in WWE than Randy Orton – Ric Flair and John Cena.
With Orton already having warned Cody Rhodes that he was in the hunt for his 15th world championship, there is no reason why Orton would stop the quest now that John Cena is the title holder.
Since John Cena has threatened to take the title with him when he retires, unless someone beats him for it, Cena could succeed in his quest to “ruin wrestling” for everyone.
After WrestleMania 41 highlighted just how Randy Orton has been entertaining WWE fans for literal decades, he could be a key piece in saving the WWE Universe from Cena.

United States Championship – LA Knight

With WWE Backlash coming up in less than three weeks, it seems possible that just as quickly as Jacob Fatu won his first singles title in WWE, he could lose it.
Although Solo Sikoa accompanied Jacob Fatu on the ramp at WrestleMania 41, fans continue to expect some future sabotage setting up Sikoa vs Fatu.
With Tama Tonga was written off of TV from an attack by LA Knight on the SmackDown before WrestleMania and Tonga Loa still out of action due to injury, Solo is now Jacob’s only ally.
While Sikoa may not directly challenge Fatu, he could end up costing him his title instead to kick off their feud.

Women’s United States Champion – Nikki Bella

Reportedly one of the pitches for Chelsea Green’s United States Championship to be defended at WrestleMania 41 was to host an open challenge.
Suggesting stars like Alexa Bliss and Nikki Bella, the scrapped plan ended up being revealed online and fans wondered if it could really be in the works.
With Nikki Bella having subsequently joked that she was waiting for the Chelsea Green Open Challenge to return to the ring – maybe it is indeed a real thing.
Bella has seemed to allude to ‘something big’ happening over the summer which many fans have assumed is an in-ring return, and it would be legendary to see the two eras of ultimate entertainers in Bella and Green square off.

WWE Tag Team Championship – Nathan Frazer & Axiom

The Street Profits were able to beat DIY to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship, but they’ll have hold on to them in a major match on an upcoming TV episode.
The Motor City Machine Guns and DIY are set to face the Street Profits in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 41.
It seems as though there could be a bigger story to be told if the Profits were able to hang on to the titles past the TLC match in order to face a new team.
While Fraxiom lost their NXT Tag Team Championship, they seem likely to be called up to the main roster. Adding an additional layer of both speed and history to the division, there could be some more exciting stories from this call-up.

WWE Women’s Championship – Bayley

While Tiffany Stratton was able to retain her WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41 against Charlotte Flair, there are still two other ‘Horsewomen’ from the OG NXT currently in WWE.
After being ‘taken out’ ahead of her potential tag team championship victory at WrestleMania 41, perhaps Bayley will tap into her own heel side similarly to Naomi.
With Bayley able to bang some of the same drums as Stratton’s rivalry with Flair – accusing a younger talent of coming in and taking spots from people who have spent years earning it – it could get both characters in a better place in the end.
Tiffany Stratton being pushed as a rising future star who is able to defeat her bitter rivals who are attempting to gatekeep and ‘protect the business’ is a classic but still relevant story.

Women’s Tag Team Championship – Alba Fyre & Piper Niven

With Becky Lynch making her surprise return at WrestleMania 41 to lend a hand to Lyra Valkyria and them becoming the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, the pair already have a match lined up for NXT.
Since Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin won the pre-show match at NXT Stand & Deliver against three other teams, they’ve got the first shot at Lynch and Valkyria.
Although it seems unlikely that they’ll beat the champs, there is always a chance, but a future feud for Lynch and Valkyria with the ‘Secret Hervice’ of Alba Fyre and Piper Niven would be really amazing.
However it is worth nothing that between the main roster and NXT there are at least 10 women’s tag teams that could conceivably hold the belts, so there are a lot of possibilities for where this title could go next.

Intercontinental Championship – Rusev

Since ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, it seems as though something may be afoot.
While Dom certainly has the skills to facilitate a long reign, his character is also so bulletproof regarding fan reception, so he could probably lose the IC Title to a newcomer to the roster ASAP and come out unscathed.
Perhaps the returning Rusev would fit the bill after he re-signed with the company following his AEW departure in February.
Dirty Dom’s win seems to be setting up something, but who knows, perhaps WWE will surprise everyone and he’ll go on to beat GUNTHER’s record to become the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion at 667 days.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Becky Lynch

While Becky Lynch returned at WrestleMania 41 to warm reception, there was something mildly suspicious about the sweetness of it all.
Clearly interested in telling compelling stories, it would be intriguing for Becky Lynch to take on Lyra Valkyria further down the road after some kind of dramatic conflict.
If it is Lynch turning her back on Valkyria, that’s interesting to a point, but perhaps Lyra deciding to dump Becky could end up even better in the long run.
There are a lot of ways to get there but Lynch being the second woman to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship seems likely.

World Tag Team Championship – Finn Balor & JD McDonagh

With the apparent incoming dissolution of Judgment Day coupled with the anticipated return of JD McDonagh, it could be possible that he sticks together with Finn Balor.
After suffering a gruesome injury on TV but still finishing the match, it is hard to imagine crowds turning wildly against McDonagh now, so they may have a shift in characters to boot.
Since Dominik Mysterio is likely to have his hands full with plenty of other challengers for the Intercontinental Championship, this could be the perfect way to finally end Judgment Day.
Especially when fighting The New Day with their new heel attitudes, Balor and McDonagh could reclaim their World Tag Team Championship but with the crowd’s support this time.

Women’s World Championship – Bianca Belair

Despite the fact that she has not outright turned heel, fans at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas booed Bianca Belair on her entrance.
While Belair would go on to seemingly tease a major heel turn during the match, it never arrived as IYO SKY would end up retaining her title.
Belair did have a decidedly more heelish attitude during the match in response to the crowd booing her despite her not really doing anything to cement a heel turn.
Denied the opportunity to face SKY one-on-one, it is possible that Bianca Belair will get her second chance at WWE Backlash and be able to beat the Genius of the Sky.

World Heavyweight Championship – Ilja Dragunov

While Ilja Dragunov remains out of action due to injury, there is some speculation about his return in the second half of 2025.
With varying timelines, the latest report from Fightful Select indicates he’s expected back around September or October.
Other potentially more likely choices in the event Jey Uso doesn’t remain champion for that long include Seth Rollins or Sami Zayn.
