WWE NXT had a couple of big title changes this past week, with Ethan Page becoming North American Champion, and Jacy Jayne defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Title.
As the brand continues to impress on the CW Network,
Here are our predictions for the next holder of every championship in NXT.
NXT North American Championship (Ethan Page) – Je’Von Evans

After ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page was able to defeat Ricky Saints to capture the North American Championship, his first defense was announced for WWE & AAA Worlds Collide.
Taking on not only Je’Von Evans but also Laredo Kid from AAA and Rey Fenix from the main roster in a four-way, it may make sense to see the title change hands at the event.
With seemingly Ethan Page, and possibly even Ricky Saints, poised to be called up to the main roster, switching the title Evans could bring his story with Page to a close.
After a successful feud between the pair, it would be nice to see Page move on and Evans move up the card.

NXT Championship (Oba Femi) – Ricky Saints

The current NXT Champion Oba Femi has held the title for over 145 days at time of writing, having held off numerous top challengers in the past several months.
While his reign has been undoubtedly impressive, some fans speculate that he could be poised to be called up to the WWE main roster soon. However, if both Ricky Saints and Oba Femi find themselves still in NXT, it seems likely the next top champ in NXT could be Saints.
With the potential to start a rivalry that can carry over to the main roster in the future, the pair could be an iconic match-up in terms of both in-ring competition and promo exchanges.
The caveat is, again, that Saints is reportedly expected to be called up to the main roster very soon, which may mean an NXT Title win is off the cards. If he’s sticking around though, it’d be a logical next step.

NXT Tag Team Championship (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) – DarkState

NXT Tag Team Champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are a fun duo that fans have connected with, but they may not be the picture of traditional tag team success.
Finding support through their work ethic and connection through their humorous personalities, a group that presents a polar opposite to Hank and Tank is DarkState.
With the powerful group of Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars have already tangled with Hank and Tank, perhaps their future will be to take over the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles.
Potentially going on to defend the titles under the ‘Freebird Rule’, by having a rotation of the group defending the titles, the faction could maintain their mystery and chaotic nature even as champs.

NXT Heritage Cup (Noam Dar) – Myles Borne

After a strong performance against NXT Champion Oba Femi at WWE NXT Battleground, Myles Borne certainly looked ready for bigger things.
While he was hopeful to depart the No Quarter Catch Crew, Charlie Dempsey would seek to keep him with the group, with a ’rounds match’ being made with the stipulation that if Borne wins, he gets to leave the NQCC.
Considering it’s a rounds match, a staple of the NXT Heritage Cup currently held by Noam Dar, a win for Borne in that specific match type could see hiim transition into challenging for the trophy.
If Borne was to become champion, it could come back around for former champ and former ally Charlie Dempsey to challenge him once again.

NXT Women’s North American Champion (Sol Ruca) – Zaria

Although it is possible that some friendships in WWE stand the test of time, typically some sort of betrayal ends up cutting partnerships a short.
That could certainly be the case between NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca and tag partner Zaria.
While the two could maintain their friendship, it would probably make the most sense to see Zaria turning heel on Ruca in order to make a dramatic pivot towards the title.
Possibly a match that could be an addition to the upcoming Evolution PLE, perhaps NXT could showcase some top female talent through a title bout between Sol Ruca and Zaria on that show.

NXT Women’s Champion (Jacy Jayne) – Thea Hail

With Roxanne Perez, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer’s call-ups to the WWE main roster confirmed, and Jordynne Grace poised to follow, there is now room for movement at the top of the NXT women’s division.
Since heel champion Jacy Jayne was able to capture the NXT Women’s Championship after four years in NXT, it seems that perhaps a babyface challenger is ready to emerge.
However, with other fan favorites like Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker also currently on the dark side, perhaps the most logical choice would be for a surprise fan favorite new champ – Thea Hail.
After gaining favor with the audience as a part of Chase U, the energetic star is still looking for her next moves in NXT, and perhaps targeting the top title and former bully Jacy Jayne – even referring back to their shared tiin Chase U – is just the goal she needs.
