WWE NXT has been ever changing throughout the majority of 2025 with titles changing hands and new stars arriving on the brand.
Whether it be the likes of Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia departing or Blake Monroe arriving, the brand has seen a lot of overturn throughout the past few months.
With WWE NXT Great American Bash and Evolution now less than a month away, there is so much that can be altered in the landscape for the brand before they head to Atlanta in July.
Here are seven potential changes to WWE NXT.
7. Ricky Saints Earns Rematch vs. Ethan Page For The NXT North American Championship
On the May 27 edition of WWE NXT, Ethan Page defeated Ricky Saints to win the NXT North American Championship.
During the course of the matchup, Page delivered the Twisted Grin on Saints on top of a steel chair, causing Ricky to suffer a laryngeal contusion.
However, Saints made a return to get some revenge on Page on the June 10 episode of WWE NXT. Since then, the former AEW star has been looking to get his hands on the champion in a rematch.
With Ricky lined up to have to deal with Ashante “Thee” Adonis and The Vanity Project over the next few weeks, it should lead to Saints earning his shot at “All Ego” for the NXT North American Championship sooner rather than later.

6. DarkState Target The NXT Tag Team Championship
On the May 6 episode of WWE NXT, Dark State defeated Joe Hendry, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in a six-man tag team match.
Since then, the rebellious faction have not interacted with the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions at all, but they should be in line for a title opportunity.
Gaining a title objective will help to further establish Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox, Cutler James and Osiris Griffin as a unit to be feared.
Dark State targeting the NXT Tag Team Championships will help to put some focus on Hank and Tank’s current reign and allow them to expand on their characters as well.

5. Zaria Turns On Sol Ruca
Sol Ruca is currently a double champion, holding both the NXT Women’s North American and WWE Speed Championships.
Since capturing the NXT Women’s North American Championship, there has been subtle tension being teased between Ruca and ZARIA.
With both ladies striving for singles success, it may come down to ZARIA having to split from Sol to accomplish what she needs to meet her potential.
ZARIA turning on Ruca would be a major shift that could completely change the landscape of the NXT women’s division.

4. Tony D’Angelo & Stacks Determine The Next NXT Heritage Cup Champion
At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Tony D’Angelo in a grudge match.
Thanks to this win, Stacks was given a shot at the NXT Heritage Cup against Noam Dar for the June 24 episode.
However, NXT GM Ava revealed that Dar had suffered an injury that has forced him to vacate the Heritage Cup, leading to D’Angelo replacing him in the upcoming match.
With both vying for the vacant Heritage Cup, the June 24 NXT is guarantee to feature a new champion being crowned for the division.

3. Blake Monroe Goes For Revenge On Fatal Influence
On the June 17 edition of WWE NXT, Blake Monroe had an in-ring segment to sign her contract, but she was interrupted by Fatal Influence.
After a heated exchange with Jacy Jayne, Fatal Influence jumped Monroe, leading to the group driving the former AEW Women’s World Champion through a table.
With Monroe now being positioned as a babyface against the NXT Women’s Champion, it looks like revenge might be on her mind now.
Blake Monroe will be looking to get her hands on Jayne and company with fans looking forward to see how this storyline develops over the next few weeks.

2. Jacy Jayne’s WWE Evolution Challenger Determined
Speaking of Jacy Jayne, the past few weeks have been dedicated to setting up her next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The June 24 episode of WWE NXT will see a four-way match with Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, Izzi Dame and Jordynne Grace competing to determine who will face Jayne at WWE Evolution.
The all-women’s premium live event will be a crucial opportunity for any of these young stars as well as Jayne and should make this four-way number one contenders match extremely contentious.
WWE Evolution could be Jacy and any of these female stars’ biggest match of their career with the NXT Women’s Championship up for grabs.

1. Oba Femi vs. Trick Williams Champion vs. Champion Set Up
Ahead of NXT Stand & Deliver, it looked as if Oba Femi and Trick Williams were on a collision course for the NXT Championship.
However, Je’Von Evans inserted himself into the picture to make it a three-way match during WrestleMania 41 weekend.
Since Femi picked up the win at Stand & Deliver, Trick has gone on to defeat Joe Hendry to win the TNA World Title with him now taking the spot of top heel in the promotion.
After a brief interaction between the two champions, WWE could be building to a massive Oba vs. Trick Champion vs. Champion match in the near future whether it be at NXT Great American Bash or later this year.
